good morning all.
what a drop in temp, 18 out now, brrrrr.
I had hoped to warm it up with good news about the powerball but in four tickets I got one number right.
oh well....
I'll try again on Wednesday.

other than a trip to CVS this morning, not much planned. Might start working on organizing taxes.
I do need to run to church and take pictures for a landscaper, still trying to get two quotes on fill dirt around the new walkway.
Hopefully it will warm up enough on way home to get car washed.

high of only 37 today
almost a million folks out of power from that storm yesterday.
Northern MD and VA, particularly Alexandria and likely DC too got socked.

my friend in Milton DE got ten inches of snow, high winds and some tree damage

Couldn’t go back to sleep. Kept thinking about stuff needing done around the house. I can get it done in my mind.

Good morning, low 22 high 25°F. Wind SW 8 mph. 40% chance of snow. Tonight and tomorrow we will be getting dumped on.

Woodchuckdad, if you think the noise from snow plows scraping bare pavement is loud, try driving one. It is even louder in the cab unless you have a really good stereo.

A town run is in the cards for today, then conserve energy.

Have a safe day all

Older neighbor I'm helping across the street who just got a new shoulder and can't drive asked me to pick up several cans of Barbasol
for her guy. He has no license, being severely crippled from a motorcycle accident, off duty as local LEO. Very sad case. So neither of them
can drive, and while they bought enough food for two weeks, they forgot the shaving cream.

Everyone has heard of Barbasol, but I didn't know it was the number one shaving cream in the US and is made in, and always has been made
in Ashland Ohio. I've never used it but I think I remember it has a moderate smell. I don't like lasting perfumes of any kind so I normally go for unscented
shaving cream and deodorant, but clearly a lot of guys like the smell if it's number one. I bet some of you used a little Barbasol this morning.

So I'm hunting Barbasol at CVS this morning. I think it costs half as much at Walmart but I'm not driving that far.

Bill, you need a nice set of noise cancelling headphones to wear while plowing.
That way you can't hear the mailboxes landing 50 feet away... :) :)

Not feeling real good right now, so I'm gonna lie back down.
If I get up pretty quickly, going to try that dump run this morning

sleep in Roy, feel better.
too cold out there anyway, well for us Southerners...
And from a temp standpoint, I can definitely say my heart belongs to the South.

Good Morning!!!! 50F @ 4:15AM. Light rain this morning. Then remaining cloudy. High near 55F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 60%.
The 10-day is calling for light rain on and off for the rest of the week, then clearing for the weekend and warming up a bit next week.
The wind has been howling all night, with air whistling through a window somewhere. Gonna need a nap later, I think

Glad those traveling had smooth sailing, and hope the driveway isn't too rough, Buppies.

Keep going like that, Don, and you'll be giving Bruce a run for his money... 👍

With the coming of the new year and motorhome, Ted, it sounds like you're all set to start your OFFICIAL retirement! Won't be long before you start wondering how you ever had time to work a full time job, I bet.

I'm with you, Mike. I couldn't seem to find first gear yesterday, and the only thing I got done was to fill the wood dolly and bring it back inside the house. Then just kept the stove stoked, and took a nap.

Not sure what's on today's agenda, but it won't be outside.

14° at 5, shot up to 15 now.
We got 5” of snow and about an inch of rain before that and an inch of ice between them. Our heavy snow was 1-4pm, high winds and thunder too.
Unless it banked in the driveway I don’t see plowing that little bit.
