From English idiomatic expression to this...It looks like someone needs a hug here. You're doing fine, you're a good person, you are smart, here's your participation trophy.
That is one hell of a flex...

And there's the problem right there!Sure, when you make up your own meanings to words or phrases, so that they support your argument.
I want one!
That is nice but my 2010 Subaru Forester is the one I use after a storm in case I have to get over some small stuff ice storm snow storms and I don't think I want to put a new EV in there and use it for a Jeep.
I understand that, for sure. My 20 year old Ford Ranger does really well in the snow, especially with the 400lb canopy on the back, and i'm not so worried about scratches and small dents. My 2014 Crosstrek does pretty good too, they both have surprising amount of ground clearance. That is nice but my 2010 Subaru Forester is the one I use after a storm in case I have to get over some small stuff ice storm snow storms and I don't think I want to put a new EV in there and use it for a Jeep.![]()
I love, my Subaru but still want a Tesla![]()
I believe the EVs would be speed limited (top speed...maybe 90?) But Larry you got me thinking about inductive charging. So shopping or home it charges parked without even plugging in. And again with computer technology the EV owner would be charged by that charging time.We already have HOV lanes and mass transit lanes on freeways. Adding charging lanes would seem pretty straightforward.
Freeways are the only place they would be necessary. If you are on a surface street, you are not going very far and your battery can recharge while you park. If you are going 100 miles, you will mostly take a freeway. I can see a few 2-lane highways in the West being outfitted, where it's 60 miles to the next town.
Inductive charging lanes would, of course, be abused by yahoos doing things like seeing how fast their car could really go with a voltage boost. I can see smart lanes that would shut them down. "Sorry, Bubba, we did not build this so you could go 160 mph."
Lord...if I rode backwards in that pill box I'd be yelling at my shoes the whole timeHave you seen the VW self-driving mini-van interior? It's laid out like a rail compartment, with facing seats. There's even an optional card table, so you can play D&D while you go. They plan to have it on the streets in Munich starting in 2025.
