In the old days it was called Welfare. Governments will provide min income levels.and in the USA this is well underway. 20 years ago in the USA the most common retirement plan for a non college graduate white male was medical disability. Minimum Income discussions have increased as a Pandemic fix.

After Diesel College my son has just finished his first semester of a 4 year engineering degree. For his recent birthday we got him a $300 3D printer and that was an eye opener.
