I replaced all the 500 watt quartz fixtures with 200 watt LED ones. They’re 25,000 lumens and bright white, so if all the lights are on (which is rare) it looks like a sports arena outside.

25,000 lumens! 👍 Sounds like a major lighting upgrade, Paul. Mind sharing a link to where you got 'em?

Amazon, and it looks like I exaggerated, they’re only 22,000 lumens.

Thanks, Paul. Impressive!

Have you measured the current draw on one of those yet? In the Q/A part of the description, one guy says they draw a little less than 2 amps, and another says 15!

Good afternoon. Definitely not going to be a hundred plus day here, our "high" is 16C/60F.

Gardening didn't go quite to plan yesterday. Had some rocks to move so I put the bucket on the loader and was fortunate to catch a hydraulic oil leek before too much was lost. A flat face coupler had come loose.

Half an hour later I had loaded with rocks, took them into the field to dump and had my second (less fortunate) catch of the day - my front tyre on a piece of rusty steel, hidden in the long grass.
Kyle, I much prefer your daughter's catch. Did the bass go back into the pond or onto your barbecue ?

66°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 82° today.

Had a long weekend, taking Thursday and Friday off from work to do some stuff with The Wife. Didn't do much internet over the weekend, so I have some catching up to do here.

Celebrated the completion of my 55th trip around the sun yesterday. Guess I'm officially a "senior" now. Stopped at McDonald's on the way to work this morning to get my "senior coffee." :ROFLMAO: Sent a picture of the receipt to my Wife, and she called me a dork. Fair enough.

Good morning! 77˚F heading to the low 90s, had 1/4" rain and very cloudy skies yesterday. We are about 10˚ below normal today.

One of my unvaccinated covid infected friends is feeling a little worse and one is trying to get the antibody treatment. Notice the bold print below. If it sounds familiar its because it's the same wording as the vaccine which kind of invalidates any reason for not getting the vaccine. Guess it is a lot easier to justify an experimental drug when you are felling bad than when you are felling well.

"Two combination anti-SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibody products (bamlanivimab plus etesevimab and casirivimab plus imdevimab) and a single monoclonal antibody (sotrovimab) have been shown to reduce the risk of hospitalization and death in the outpatient setting in those with mild to moderate COVID-19 symptoms and certain risk factors for disease progression. As a result, these products have received Emergency Use Authorizations (EUAs) from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of COVID-19"

Step, sorry for the loss of your Dad.
Kyle, classic pic, she looks like one of the "Cool Kids".
Ron, the frog almost looks metallic.
RNG, I would be tempted to put a heat hood on those outdoor outlets after all that work.

I have been taking it easy with my strained neck, yesterday was the worst, but this morning feels greatly improved. It must have been something I did at the gym - 72 hrs before the pain started.

Good morning to all! Low of 58, going up to 86, chance of storms. Yesterday's forecast was only half correct, they predicted the time of the storms with good accuracy..... but the storms never made it to us. They all fizzled out before getting to us. Just got the strong downdraft winds.

Paul, those are some lights! I would be curious about the amp draw also...

Kyle, great pic of your daughter and her catch! I haven't caught a fish like that for a very long time.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to PJ..... welcome to the club! Next thing that will happen is you'll be paying attention to Joe Namath talking about medicare! 😳
Did you join AARP?

RNG, I am glad you are able to get the camera stuff figured out. Try to stay cool while out there.... those temps are way too hot for me!

Eric, sorry to hear about the puncture.... hopefully repairable without too much trouble.

Not sure about the agenda for today.... there is a dirt pile that I want to move, landscape fabric to put down, a big pile of split rail fence materials that has to be moved and restacked, ..... decisions, decisions.....

Everyone have a great day and start to the week!
