Good evening all. 74F for the start, partly cloudy, light breeze. Light wind day, sky mostly clear, and high temp was 96F, HI 103F, and DP 66F. Cleaning lady prep the morning, then bike ride. Nap after lunch then started looking at new computer. New card installed but need video cable with DP format for computer end, that is on order so no work till Sunday. Tonight was gather up for tomorrow bike rid 5AM departure from here for 7:30 Start in Cleburne.

Thunderstorm last nite. Knocked out power at 9 PM, and Hydro One said it would not be restored until 4 PM today. No problem, we were in bed anyway, and hardly noticed it since we have an automatic standby generator that is actually quite quiet. However, the renters at the rental property five hundred yards away did not. They didn’t notify us until this morning, so we took our brand new generator that’s just like Drew’s over there, and plugged it in around 10 AM. Of course, two hours later the power went back on!

It’s OK, we needed to test run that generator anyway as it was new and we have never had to really use it.

Funny thing, Drew, the thing won’t start until you make about three or four times, and each time it makes six attempts at starting. This was on gasoline. Does yours do that?

52 right now...high about 70 today...
Chores: Dump run in a couple hours, then start yanking those fence posts out. Might put the chipper on since I have a small pile of limbs and brush. Wifey said something about going to do some shopping (groceries) and I could use a case of beer.
Not sure what I'll do with the fence posts and rails...offered it to my neighbor for his firepit but haven't heard back from him. Probably just pile it out of the way for the time being...
Time permits, probably mow today too since rain is in the forecast for Sunday...

Today could be a real "hot house" for Brownie & me. It's stayed pretty warm all night resulting in pretty warm in the house. Got the big 'ol fans going wide open. We'll see as sunrise approaches.

Coffee is done brewing. 52° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 80° with partly cloudy skies. Got all my chores done yesterday. Then enjoy some quiet time on back porch. Friend is bring his Ford Escape Hybrid over to install a base plate. Have not done one for a few years.

69 going to 85.

No seat time yesterday...some urgent paperwork things came up for the family that needed my attention, and then decided the string trimmer needed exercise...might try the zero turn today, but it's awfully dry. Still more string trimming, too, plus some backpack spraying.

RNG, you're right...I have a trail picked out for today in the mountains...but last night decided to do a local trail with pretty good elevation gain as a warm up, since I have less time to devote to it today.

That was a crazy fun song, but after hearing it once or twice, usually changed the station if it was my radio.
