When I built my house, I leveled my basement beam using my FILs theadolite. I’ve only located the stand and poles, MIL said I can have it.

I got so sick of seeing my hollyhocks turned into what looked like lace doilies that
I broke down and got a spray container of Sevin. Won't use it anywhere near veggies but if those lantern flies
come visiting, I'll be ready. I already go through a lot of organic Neem oil but it only seemed to annoy the Japanese beetles.

I inspect my roses daily.
and to the bugs:
Thou Shall Not Pass!

I use sevin in my garden, that’s what it’s for.

I got the new valve stem in the rear Toro wheel, pumped up the tire, now it’s wait and see if that was the only problem. I was able to do it on the mower, just jacked it up and broke the outside bead, then I took an old tire paddle and pry bar and moved the bead out of the way, put a couple of 1x2’s in to hold it back and installed the valve with a little lube. I hit the tire on top where I had the bead loose and it popped right out when I started airing it.

Gland nut loosen on curl cylinder, but unfortunately broke the pin wrench trying to take it off (had to use pipe wrench but it came off fairly easily) ... so that will have to be repaired again ...

Ran up to the shop and turned on the AC after that, then slid by and put the nail in nest box No. 4 to keep the door closed.

Came back down and removed the nuts and bolts that hold the cylinder pins in place.

After that I took the Cub up and mowed around the outside of the upper and lower fronts and laid down the pattern I want for this cutting (diagonal, from the southwest to the northeast)

Came down and did a little mowing around the house on some dry areas, will wait to mow the rest of it until last.

Fed fish (all of them)

Glued a cross onto a 10' long length of pvc.

Filled hopper feeder.

About to pull the pins and disconnect the hydraulic lines and take the curl cylinder up to the shop and start rebuilding that.

Woman headed out to do some shopping and running around. She'll bring back gas for the Cub and Jimmy John's for chow ... plus Dunkin'.

over an hour late the mower showed up, and boy that guy liked to chat, likely why he was running late.
Supposed to thunderstorm after dinner so will save breaking it in until tomorrow. Digital fuel gauge is new, controls are
updated but all the same functions I'm used to. I put a smart charger on the battery, filled the gas tank and it's sitting being queen
of the garage. Seat, which did not have the armrest kit I ordered, is much more comfortable than older models, more cushiness to it with decorative
stitching.

Only one feature this mower doesn't have and I wish it did, which is limited slip on rear axle. We'll see if can keep it out of the ditch...

Hot and sticky out, sweated a bunch, drank a gatorade type drink.

Very nice machine. We are due for a new one too. Its over 20+ years old but has been a brilliant mower. (Husky) I drag the rubbish bins out to the road with it now as my back can't stand that walk any more. They sure have come a long way.

Ken, my original Betstco belts suffered abuse early on as I was into heavy stuff with guava trees Operator abuse.

But, yes those bolts were staying tight. As it was, I had actually run out of adjustment bolt and had fashioned a solid spacer under the shaft and strangely enough the belts just got looser. I even shimmed the spacer twice to take up the slack before they delaminated.
I have mowed another 2 hours with my old mismatched non kevlar belts this morning, back with the normal bolt adjustment and working just fine. Strange.
