That's not over size or over weight for a HiLux. Whistling Diesel (YouTube content creator) proved that the HiLux can only die after he drops it 10K feet from a helicopter. He actually couldn't kill that truck.
Still remember when they tried to kill this HILUX diesel on top gear BBC America put on top of s building and imploded the building, drove it in the ocean among other things. ended up retiring it and displaying in there studio.

A legislator saw a dog do just that, and introduced a law outlawing it. They are supposed to be tied in such a manner that it can't jump over the side. Mine rides about 4 miles back from the lake and I don't tie him, but since his injuries he can't jump out. Even before then he wouldn't... I drive the road in front of my property at about 10 mph with the tailgate down and he won't get out until I say that it's OK.

The safest place for a dog is in a crate in the back seat, but I've never had a dog which would stay in one.

Our Airedale does! 3-4 hours up to the cottage, with one stop to pee. Jumps up willingly to the crate in the back seat of my F150 Supercrew.

Caught a driver having a bad day in town today. Looks like he lost a skid or two worth of springs off the front of his trailer onto the roadway and the area behind the cabof his tractor. Got this video frame off my dash cam.

Slow moving when it happened ? No telling I guess. The springs are pretty well in one area, not strung out in a line.

It's an Akaso V1, which isn't available anymore, must have been discontinued for a newer model. It does take great video and the audio is pretty good too. I should have turned it to get a better look at the mess, but was watching the traffic.

Not sure if you can see it very well, but those springs were only shrink wrapped on a skid, not banded or otherwise secured in any way. No way would I ever haul those things that way. I can hear the shipper, "we been hauling them like that for years, never had a problem yet." Yeah, hauling them in a van stacked together, I'll bet.

WhistlinDiesel is a most annoying prick and he finds himself funnier than anyone else, while all he did was just mimicking 10 year old Top Gear episodes...

Mind you, there are 3 episodes on killing the HiLux...

You guys are not just missing out in the HiLux, theres a lot of other stuff you guys dont get but Europe Africa and Asia does...

Like the Nissan Patrol, before they pimped it and called it an Infinity:

But even the inline 6 us Europeans can afford in our fuel and vehicle tax system were pretty stout:

For anyone wondering why the RB26 is such a popular tuning engine in the US: It shares the lower end with the RD28 diesel.

Also the Toyota Landcruiser, the most expensive 30 year old 4x4 you can buy

In the latest generation, they are no longer of interest to the rest of the world, because they all became electronics stuffed SUVs with design over functionality, by American demand... You dont trash these fragile, overly expensive things in the outback, they have lost their utilitarian value...

Yes, I realize in other areas of the world this would have been one load instead of 4 ;)
