PORTLAND, Ore — Portland, once again, shattered the all-time heat record on Monday after a weekend of triple-digit temperatures that already broken previous records.
After
breaking its all-time hottest temperature record on Saturday, Portland reached
even hotter levels on Sunday. By late afternoon, after consistently climbing all day, temperatures at the Portland International Airport reached 112 degrees, setting a new all-time high.
Now, as we kick off a new week, Portland has shattered that with 115 degrees -- and temperatures could still climb in the afternoon hours before cooler marine air pushes inland.
