Yep, it has changed now plant based just means it has a plant in it. That is why it is so important to read the ingredients and NOT the marketing labeling on the box. However in some states it is a crime to use the word meat in labeling if it does not have certain animal cells in it.And "peanut butter" doesn't actually contain real butter either.
