Up a bit too early....
43° right now...high in the low 80's today...

Gave my audit report yesterday, so no need to rehash that. Did have to push back on a couple things during the course of the day and that went well
The auditors will do a little auditing today (probably about 2 hours), then write their reports and present that at the closing meeting.
By the sounds extra sleep time couple old movies and your favor spirit in order for this weekend.

good morning all
last nice day before H and H comes in, apparently sent this way from you folks in Texas.

had to order some air fittings to hook up new grease gun, all the time wondering where I put the ones I had.
Well...in putting new ones away found the stash of fittings, now I'm well prepared. Compressor only puts out 2cfm
which is plenty for grease gun but not enough for impact gun. It was a Lincoln gun, got prime right away and the lovely
JD green grease came out. The green stuff is only a buck more per tube than regular grease, and since I'm borrowing a JD, and will
hopefully soon own one again, decided a couple tubes of the green grease were in order. I always get confused whether the JD spec is for
lithium or moly based grease.

Off to PT and then a quiet day at home. Read the fine print on the plant nursery coupons, have about 50 bucks worth, and the start
date is tomorrow. Wish it was today, nicer day to be outside. Heading to a plant nursery with freebie coupons sounds like a fine day to me.

From what I can tell, Drew, moly grease comes out black, stains everything it touches, but provides the best protection for the pins in our FELs and backhoes. I wonder if the JD grease is the same as the Lucas XTRA-Heavy Duty grease I'm trying; they're both green. No matter what grease you use, it's probably more important to use it often than it is to use "super" grease with synthetic ingredients. Kubota recommends greasing every 10 hours for the backhoe and FEL.

thanks, I have ruined more clothes RNG brushing up against that black grease. It simply does not come out of clothes well.

RNG, this is not good news for you...

am enjoying a Jimmy Dean breakfast vegan sandwich this morning. Plant based patty, egg whites with
spinach mixed in, not too much sugar or salt. With a little Carolina mustard vinegar sauce on it, pretty good.

I'm surprised JD doesn't tint their Plus 50 motor oil green.
Perfect oil for an Irishman!

The other colored grease I have used is Lucas Red 'N Tacky. That worked well also, nice around
Christmas time for that red and green look... ;)

Good Morning
It’s 57 and headed to 80, another nice day.

Yesterday was a good day, I did get to put the 90” 3pt Landpride mower on the tractor and mow the small pastures, son took the Lazer and did all the fence lines. I have to say that I wish the Quick Hitch was around 50 years ago. It literally takes a minute or so to connect implements. Admittedly, I did have to modify some of my old implements to be compatible, but it was definitely worthwhile.
I was in the shop until about 10:30 getting the last coat of finish on a speaker that will be ready for final assembly, hopefully later today.

Today, I’ve got to take a quick trip to Martha’s Vineyard, but it’s such a nice day, and it’s for a longtime client that is super nice, so it will actually be fun. My plan is to do the final assembly on the speaker when I get back, and then get ready for band rehearsal tonight.

The manual for my Progressive mower has an interesting section on grease, and their recommendations.

77°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 102° today. Record for today is 100° from 1953, or so I'm told by a voice on the radio.

All this grease talk reminds me that my tractor needs a few squeezes as well.
