74F and mostly cloudy @ 20:00, headed down to 69F for the overnight low.

Didn't hit 90 here (83F was the high I think), but with the dew point being 70F, as top says: it was close out there today.

Got chased inside by a heavy thundershower mid afternoon, then a little after 19:00 it started sprinkling again so we called it a day and came inside and had dinner (Woman's ham and bean soup)

Dunno exactly how much we got total, but there were puddles in the yard after the first one for a little while.

Nonetheless we managed to make a little progress on the blueberry patch/raised bed garden area to be:

Even managed to dig up 4 of the 6 volunteer oaks and get them potted:

Should be able to get it finished up and get the plants in the ground tomorrow.

Hope everyone had a great day ... (y)

Good evening everyone. Big news today - the provincial government went into “Stage 1” of opening up, meaning that we can now have short term renters coming to our rental property. That is just great, because the whole summer was booked solid, and we didn’t want to lose any customers. Have a few chores to do, like mowing the lawn, and installing a few boards here in there. Then, I will have the whole summer off from taking care of this place, except for Saturdays, which are checkout days.

Really hot here the last few days, and we had a short rainstorm here, which made it very, very muggy for the rest of the day. Had to paint the new generator shed later on in the day, it was no fun with the muggy hot temperature.

Just sitting out on the screened in porch with a glass of wine right now, listening to the loons, and the Canada geese, and the squirrels chattering away, while the dog barks every once in a while when he sees or hears something. Very relaxing.

Have a good evening, guys!

Only 84 new cases in our state today, 250 still hospitalized. Wish they would drop the work mask mandate.

I guess it’s good evening now.
It was another hot one today started out about 70 and made it to 90. We had occasional showers pass by, Tempest said there was lightning 20 miles away, but I never heard thunder.

Got all the mowing done yesterday, started early on the Lazer, and finished up before noon with the tractor, so I beat the worst of the heat. Went out and trimmed some low hanging branches that were an annoyance on the Lazer, and picked up other dead branches along the hedge rows. Then put my feet up and enjoyed the AC.

Today was a shop day, got one speaker off to FedEx and processed 3 new orders. Had to deal with some airport authority issues, spent a batch of time on the phone and with emails. Then DIL called me to see if I could play with grandson while she went to a doctors appointment. Odd fellows zoom meeting after dinner, and next thing I know it’s after 10…….

First of all, they made the name where no one can remember it....

Mind Game

Prayers for Sophie. And our crew.

RNG, maybe Randy would have an original pair of "Brougham" metal insignias to go along with vinyl top. Maybe if I can get the dents smoothed out, I could buy a similar color matching roll of vinyl wrap to cover roof. LOL.

No clue as to why we got a call come in early as Sophie ended up being last patient of the day. Made for a very long day. Will learn more when visiting ophthalmologist on Wed. Will be glad to get home tomorrow.
