Real estate is going crazy here, makes me wonder how long this boom will last???
High lumber prices, Covid slowdowns, etc...I guess it is hard to get new homes built right now. I might call my builder friend in Austin to see how he's doing.

I am glad to hear you're improving, but sorry you're had to get sick again. What does the infarction change? Prayers my friend.

Oh my wng, I never know exactly what to say, but I know she's your best doggie friend, and you have, and will take the best care of her. It is sad that dog's don't live longer lives. I'm sorry.

reminds me of a video I saw, where a terminal female chimpanzee was laying on her death bed, curled up in a fetal position. A previous caretaker, an older gentleman stopped by to see her before she passed. She was so glad to see him, she recognized him only after he started talking to her. She raised up her head, and they rubbed each other's heads and she was smiling a mile wide.

Prayers for Mostly's wifey, I hope she's feeling better and can get medical care to help things get better. Also prayers for Drew, LS, L4N's DIL, Buppies, Alien, Ken's O2 levels, and for Check to pick the right color to keep wifey happy.

Had a pair of Koss from the '70's. I tried disassemble, and install them in a full face helmet in the 80's, but failed miserably. Also had a decent set of AKG's.

Prayers for our Country and our team.

Off today.

Daughter update...thanks for the prayers. Her boyfriend broke up with her...(her mother and I agree it will be for the better). We try to infer to her, to be herself, and don't throw her better judgement out the window, to placate a friend. This was about a week ago, and she's better now. Wifey and I are going to pick her up from school and take her to lunch.

I bought a new 12 string guitar. I can't play worth a flip, but I like to play for myself and strum some licks. But I mainly bought it for my daughter, and our church. I was hoping it might be a "pick me up" for her. It wasn't a real expensive thing, I found one on Facebook marketplace, but the guy wanted almost full retail. I bought the brand new one for only $30 more than his, plus I had to pay tax.

RNG, be careful on those hills. I think I remember a APF story about you going down a hill out of control......

Rich, that free firewood sounds like a couple of C notes worth. You lucky guy.
Thanks all for the nice words about Coco. Setting an appointment with the internist she has seen before and maybe change up the medicines.

Kyle, sorry about your daughter's break up. Thought maybe that tractor driving would have iced it.

I forgot about that free firewood for Rich...that would have been a good week's worth of work for me at my pace.

Bird, thank you, and everyone that wished me well. I’m improving for sure, just not sure how long they’ll keep me. This is the second time in less than two years I’ve had this. Caught this one a bit earlier than previous episode.

I found I’d had a septal myocardial infarction of indeterminate age.
How do you have a heart attack and not know it?

45 this morning going to a windy and chilly 59 today. It’s all the same in here. LOL

Our first cruise in is tomorrow, I’ll
Probably be MIA for that one, someone else will need to pull the club trailer.

I’ll start hounding the doctor to send me home, but I’ll do what he says. I’m certainly not well at this point.

Additional prayers and best wishes Randy

RNG, maybe that lizard heard the word and is trying to get you to adopt.
Last time I saw a "foreign" lizard in Stubby's territory, he chased the invader so fast across the patio I'd never seen him move so quickly. They ended up under a sheet of tin and a heck of a ruckus ensued, with the other lizard departing out the other side never to be seen again. :ROFLMAO:

That would be a good video on your 'tube channel.

41F, cloudy, and spitting rain @ 21:15.

Haircut this morning before appointment with accountant.

Taxes done, just need to sign, put a stamp on them and get them in the mail ...

Stopped at friends on way back to pick up 4 power filters and more shells for the shell dwellers, also stopped by new pet store (mainly to have The Woman look at fish, which she really wasn't into) ... then ran by Mexican Resturant to pick up takeout late lunch/dinner (which she was very into ...)

Fed all the fish after dinner, then went to strip the one Sciaenochromis fryeri female that appeared to be holding. Didn't even get the chance ... she spit them all out as I put her into the container I planned to do the deed in. Did use a polyethylene pipette to pry her mouth open and check to make sure she wasn't holding out on me.

Was surprised at how many there were ... I'd guess close to 2 dozen:

She was the smallest of the three (known) females I have, and was looking like she was getting pretty hungry. She immediately scarfed down some pellets after I put her back in the big tank.
Sooo cute! Used to raise fish myself - waaay back when.

RNG, you haven't planted a money tree yet?
Apparently, I had a whole yard full of them before the Camp Fire, Bill. According to the estimate I got to clean up the mess, there were hundreds of them. I found web page on valuing trees, and another on replanting costs, and if the PG&E bankruptcy settlement ever amounts to anything, I might be able to get the money back the new tractor cost me so I can clean up the mess myself. And then some. A mature white oak is worth anywhere between $2,000-$20,000.
