His plan is to rent storage track for rail cars, which East Penn does in my town, too. All their sidings are loaded with NG tankers from fracking

It will create the first Canada to U.S. to Mexico railway. Hard to believe, but this is the first.

CN in the past has tried to buy Burlington Northern Santa Fe, merge with CSX, and buy Norfolk Southern. All failed for various reasons. But all had links to Mexico and a lot of southern U.S. trackage. So they've been after something like this for years. Finally might get it, if the sale is allowed.

I want to take a long train ride, haven't taken one since '83 to Toronto & back. Riding the 'Sunset Limited' and 'Empire Builder' has always been in my dreams. There's a 4-day trip across Canada that I could pick up North of Mackinac and take the rest of the way West to the coast. btw, bye bye Algoma Central and Junction Valley railroads.

Buffet would never sell BNSF. He's making way too much on the oil trains.
