Finally got the new MX delivered yesterday with the Land Pride stump grinder attached. Had to wait two weeks for the rear remotes and the 3rd function on the loader. She's a beauty!

I did not know LP was making a stump grinder...off to the google box I go

Looks like the exact same stump grinder some are getting direct from china, and I'll bet that's where that LP grinder came from.

I have no idea... I'll take a look later today. I do know it comes in around 650 lbs I believe. It sure works nice.

I just made the exact same swap except I went with a geared MX5400. I kept having issues with the HST+ in the L3940. I miss the luxuries that the cab of the L3940 offers over the MX5400 but I love having more power. I had a Woods loader on the L3940 and it actually specs out a little better than the Kubota loader so I actually lost some in that regard.

What kind of issues were you having with your HST I have an issue the tractor looses power once in a while when the pto is on and you move forward

I haven't seen a Kubota Mx in the wild, but it looks like a of lot good features for the money - except for that #$%^ turnbuckle 3pt stabilizer. (and Mickey Mouse treadle)

turnbuckle stabilizer? I must have the old one with pins.

Gear drive on mine, so no treadle, thank God; and no turn buckle either, but my L3301 has one though...

I saw the turnbuckle thing on this video (2:42). They must have upgraded to adjustable/pin type stabilizers. I've never understood why any new tractor would still have turnbuckle stabilizers. The square tubing for pin type can't cost more than $20 more.

I think the 4800 is a "utility" model. It very well may have the turnbuckles.

Mine kept leaking hydraulic oil from the split pin plug at the bottom of the clutch housing. I had the tractor split to fix it. They said a seal had blown out. The fix didn't last very long and it started leaking again. Never a lot at a time but I think the oil was starting to affect the clutch. Tractor seemed to whine more and wasn't able to go up hills as easy at it used to.
