Tower is pretty close.

Black line is tower to my house, half mile maybe.

You should get a screaming fast connection.

I drove within a half mile to my AT&T tower one day and ran a speed test with my phone. It touched 100 Mbps down.

No way that site is accurate. I run over 60 meg down on my AT&T Mobley SIM and that site doesn't show an AT&T tower even close to me. It would appear the Towers close to me that more than likely have my AT&T Service show up as Leased Towers. So you would really never know what carrier was on a leased tower unless you had first hand knowledge.

All I can say is the tower near me was right where the web site said it was. No mapping site is perfect.

Not disputing what you are saying, but im curious how you know your cell provider is on that tower? I show a tower a few miles away, but couldn't determine what was on it.

The first page you enter your zip code. Then it takes you to a page that lists providers for you to check. Tick the AT&T box and it goes to a map that is supposed to locate all their towers near your zip code. Does the same for Verizon, T-Mobil, or Sprint. Probably has different providers for different zip codes but these were the offerings near mine.

Here is another good tool. When you hover over a location on Google maps it gives you the lat and long. You can enter those values at this site for your home and the tower and it will give you a direct compass heading and distance to the tower. Very handy if you are trying to aim a Yagi.

Online calculator: Compass point between two locations

Shortly after I got the Mobley, I called the Connected Car plan phone number and asked what tower it was using. She asked for the phone number assigned to the Mobley, then told me which tower it was on.

The problem is with leased towers you never know what provider is using it so the site is pretty much worthless. Lots of towers around here that show the owner as ABC Tower Company but you well know there are multiple providers using that tower just by looking at it.
