Tractors and wood! Show your pics

Neighbor lady (that I took some firewood to earlier) dropped by and said she had some firewood rounds that were frozen to the ground, she wondered if I would drive over there with my tractor and break them loose for her.

I just decided to gather up a helper and take the tractor/splitter/chainsaw over there and make them into firewood for her, so that's what we did. I backed the splitter up to her garage where she keeps her splits and my helper brought the rounds to me with a hand cart. Some needed to be cut shorter, and he did that too.

We got started late, so we came home in the dark, and once the sun went down, I about froze to death! lol

I HATE working out in the cold like that, but she really did need the help...

When you start working like that and heating up, it's pretty noticeable when the temps drop. Kudos to you though for helping her out. :thumbsup:

How cold was it..............Dry cold isn't so bad it keeps the mosquitoes and deerflies away.

Tried some big Firewood Bags for first time, so far I like them, They should work well right at end of conveyor
