My wife and I have iPhones but she is always 'misplacing' her one. So now I set it to ring mine when hers rings so we have a good chance of catching the call. We don't carry them unless we go shopping etc.
The other day I was at the chemist and she was supposed to have rung in an order so I could pick it up on my way home from the club but she hadn't rung through. The chemist tried to ring her and then I tried and no answer. When I got home I asked why she hadn't placed the order.
She said " because you must have had my phone and I can't find it"
So... I rang her phone and her handbag rang. I looked in it and there was her phone in plain sight. She said, " But I looked in there twice!" I think she needs a iWatch too.

No that’s sounds opposite of our house. I’m always telling wife, “but I looked there”

There's an app for that, Doug. It's called Find My, and it should already be installed on your iPhones. It also works on iPads and Macs, and best of all, it's free. All you have to do is enable it, and grant permission for you each to see the other's phone. From then on, you can bring up the app and it'll show you a map with a pin marking the location of the phone. You can also trigger a noise on the lost phone to make it easier to find, or erase it, and other stuff, too. I've used it a few times now, and it works great!:thumbsup:

Bird - did you check your filter in the washer? ours had a washable mask in it, made a small mess and would not let tub drain. Easy but wet removal.

A young fellow showed up in a Sears vehicle and I got the impression that he knew what he was doing. He took that washing machine apart and I got to see parts of it I'd never seen before. There's a water hose in there that takes the water to the tub and it had something like pin hole leaks in it; just from age apparently. So he ordered a new hose, but because of the holidays he said it MAY be January 7 before we get it fixed. I've had Sears technicians order parts before and they parts will come directly to me via UPS. And he gave me phone numbers to call if the part comes early to get him back out here sooner.

So, in the meantime, I know where there's a good coin operated laundry and I can take a book to read while I wait.:laughing:

I spend a lot of time looking for tools. Couldn’t find either pair of wire strippers the other day, found one of them today in the barn.

Got replacement element sockets for the kitchen stove today. Old ones for the 2 larger elements had pretty much worn out, and wife was getting unhappy. Original GE wires that run to the switch are $48 each, these you splice into the existing wire cost $10 for 4. I figured wirenut would work ok, at worst I’m out $10. It came with heat shrink to put over the nut. Only put them on the 2 bad ones, didn’t take long.

So, in the meantime, I know where there's a good coin operated laundry and I can take a book to read while I wait.:laughing:

Well we had some good news today. Grandbaby is gonna be here for Christmas doctors decided to go ahead and induce labor on our daughter. Baby should be here tomorrow

Really sucks that with covid going on, we can't go see our daughter at the hospital to be there for her first.
