Good evening all. 34F for the start, clear sky, light breeze. Light wind day, clear sky today, and high temp was 70F. Trip to town this morning to get Christmas gifts still have two more to get. This afternoon, bike ride, and walk with wife, but no nap. Did manged to see the Jupiter and Saturn convergence, no pics
Covid update: Cooke unchanged, Montague unchanged, Grayson unchanged, local unchanged.

light rain ending, with high of 45 this afternoon in sun.

heard back from second wife last night in email from Maui, after more than 20 years of no contact.
She admitted her mental problems and said she was doing better.
Frankly I'm glad she is 5000 miles away, likely better for both of us.
There are some things I just can't fix...and I sure failed the first time.

it will be a warm Christmas here but then temps are dropping fast and maybe a small amount of snow/flurries on Christmas day as system moves out.
I expect the snow on the ground now will be melted by then.

Got another box of grapefruit sent to me, not the oranges I asked for, so I'm bagging them and giving them away to neighbor and nearby family.
My understanding is that if you eat grapefruit in the morning and take a statin at night, not too much of a problem, and I'm only on a 20mg dose, but
still need to not eat too many.

Got coffee started brewing. 34ｰ with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 38ｰ with some sun in afternoon. PC board is on furnace is bad. New one needs to come from NJ. Will see now long that takes. Still toast warm in the house with gas logs. Got a little work to do outside when sun is out. Then back in and start cleaning another room.

Drew, there are days when I think it would be nice to have a lady living with me. But ???? :confused3: After 60 years with the same person how is that done. Nice generator cover.

Buppies, working close to home is always good.

RNG, my iPhone X max. Fits in my front jeans pocket with out any problems. Even with a Otter Box Defender case. Real problem is getting out of pocket when sitting/driving. I do use hands free on car radio though.

Don, Senior hours are a bust here also. To many people. I now shop before 9am at any store. Just have to watch out for stockers running you over.

41 outside this AM. Heading to 48. The girls will be returning to their rat races today. Looks like another road trip for me because the in-laws refuse to practice social distancing tomorrow. Figured we will sit on their lawn and wave to them. Better than them coming here and coming into the house. They just don't understand the exposure our girls are subjected too. Or they get it, but are in denial.

Managed to get out yesterday and get the remaining deck wood. There too was somewhat disappointed to see mask-less people out and about at the lumber yard.

Got a glimpse of the planets last night, before the clouds moved in. Looked like it did the night before. Need binoculars or a telescope to see the details.

Found two more packages, on top, yes, on top of the mailbox yesterday. Quite the balancing act down there. Amazing a car or truck did not blow them off.
