Good morning, the temperature is 24°F and going to 28. Wind N 21 gusting to 39 mph. Snow! We could see up to a foot.

I am as ready for the snow as I ever am. I will be out plowing this morning.

I cleaned out the group mail boxes for 25 years, up until someone bellyached about the job I was doing for free. Now they are tendered and I don't bid. The way I look at it, if you are getting a service for free, then don't ***** if the job isn't up to your standards.

After plowing, a town run, then conserve energy.

Have a safe day all

Morning all! 57 here going to 60 with clouds most of the day.
House sitting today for one of the family who needs a fuel tank swap in their home. Tank is quite old and starting to seep. Over 4000 bucks for the job!!!
Been working on getting the sand to fill in between the bricks on the drive. Sweep, sweep, sweep and sweep some more. Here is a quick pic with the sand on the surface. The first 10 feet is 4 or 5 years old.
Stay safe and healthy all!

Good morning all. The moon was still out this morning, not a warm glow like Sophie's pic, this looked more like a silver Christmas tree decoration, hanging from some invisible thread only inches above the top of the frost coated slates.

Sheep were surprisingly compliant when I roused them first thing to bring them back closer to the handling pens. The remaining tups are moving off to service ewes in another flock. They will think Christmas has come early, with their friend passing away and not yet replaced, they will be getting even more attention from the ladies than normal.

BEF, $68 seems a lot to pay for shipping, the water circulation pump on your ground source must be a lot larger than mine, or is it the compressor you are having to replace ?

good morning all.
45 out now, only going up to 48 in sun and clouds.
Will be without power this morning as electrician shuts everything down to install generator.
Need to remember to turn off the computer UPS so it doesn't squawk constantly.
Will turn up the heat a little before he comes and settle in with my book.
Then need to unbox the cover I got for generator and install that when we are all done.

I also need to run the ozone generator when electrician has left, getting pretty musty smelling in basement due to all the rain.
If I run it for over half an hour I can start to smell it upstairs, which is not pleasant, so have learned to set the timer on minimum setting.
Odor in basement almost totally eliminated after running this unit.

The alpaca socks I got are the "dress" version and very comfortable, but not overly cushy which is fine so they fit in shoes without bunching up. The thicker versions
looked about twice as thick and resemble the wool socks my sister gave me two years ago for Christmas. I've never worn socks more than one day at a time but will wear them
today for second day in a row. And no, there is no odor to them at all.
December has arrived.

Wow. Where did this year go? Is 45 outside with a light rain that just came through. This might be the high for the day.

Not sure what I will do today, need to build some porch roof supports to start the process of putting columns in. Have been watching (measuring) for possible sag since I took the left and right side walls down. Can never be to sure about an old house.

Phil, that paver work is looking good.

Hope all have a great day today. Be safe. Stay healthy my friends.
