Small tractor pushing heavy log, this time my log deck didn't wobble, added some 1/2" angle bar on railroad iron then screwed to the front of log deck, might change to 5/8 threaded rod later if wobble comes back.

Least I get a nice warm fuzzy feeling just knowing that all those upper mid west folks never make any mistakes and nothing on their sawmill ever wears out.............

Does your mill have a debarker? That dirty acorn tree log looked like it could be hard on the chain.

Was wondering the same hunt ?????

Maybe too much gobbledygook on that tractor already, or maybe he just need a set of real forks, get the weight closer to the loader arms.

I would have thought his gear trans would have made so much more power it could do it. lol. Kidding aside it’s a pretty good size log and the bucket forks hurt it a lot. IMG_9232.JPG

Yes, having all that weight so far forward is a killer.

A grapple would help also.

I've wondered for a while if he has hydraulic problems of some type. He also has an electric winch on back because the 3pth won't pick up a normal sized hitch of wood.

Still, that oak log has to weigh at least 1400 lbs...
