Coffee finished brewing. 26° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 47° with partly cloudy skies. Lots of brisk winds yesterday. Blew a large amount of leaves off trees and into field to the East. So need to get mower and Trak-Vac out. More wind today. Nothing on my list today.
Caught the moon as it was heading behind a cloud yesterday evening.

Drew, good that things are getting in place. Have a good visit with Dr.

Don, if I caught a fish like that I would have to throw it back in. No cake for me.

LS, hope you made it to shop yesterday.

35 now high around 39 and partly sunny today. Windy later this morning 20 to 25 with gusts to 40.
This should take down the last of the leaves and probably more branches to clean up!

Need to start the generator and let it run a bit, just in case!

Started to clean up and organize tractor shed yesterday, will finish today.

Good morning,
the temp is 18°F and going to a high of 34. Wind NW 14 gusting to 21 mph. Periods of light snow today and tonight. The 3" on the ground so far came last night.

I get to spend another grand on the Dodge today. Sure hope the Jeep will start without a boost. It is sitting at the garage now waiting patiently for me to grab it when I drop off the Dodge.

I got two of the three remotes set up for block heaters yesterday, I will do the third one today.

Plans for today...quick trip to town for fuel critter food and boot strings,than operate on leave blower :confused2: other than that we'll take the day as it comes.

36 outside this AM. Nice wind. Lots of branches and sticks to pick up today. Was relaxed last night with the wind, no big trees anymore by the house to worry about.

On the porch front, I need a redo on the vinyl plans. I set the starter strip only to find the house is tilted on the 38 foot run by 2 inches. I will have to regroup today. The 2 inch gap will be noticed between the decking and vinyl as I move from one end to the other. I may have to cheat and just hang the vinyl going with the deck. But that would mean a lot more cutting around the windows and door. I guess I should have noted the tilt on the sheeting and foam board. I thought it was just the original siding having an issue. Wife says don't fret, since it is a 100 years old. Just disappointed as I was just excited to do something easy.

Nice that the sun is up this early. LOL.

I woke up to a high wind warning. It was blowing all night. Sometimes if the wind blows just right all the leaves will magically disappear. No such luck today. Piles of leaves all around. Still a lot of leaves up in the trees.

I heard a Doctor on the radio say that it was beneficial to our well being to expose ourselves to some bright sunshine ( not that kind of expose you clowns) so maybe I will try to get some outside exercise this morning.
