I've never RC sailed, but if there was competition (everyone with the same boat), it could be fun.

I looked at their calendar and the race in the pics was the DF 65 class sailboats.

Good evening all. 66F for the start, overcast light breeze. Windy day, sky cleared off and high temp was 84F. Men's meeting to start, then bike ride, and nap. No anti gopher activity, He did not do much digging. Rain in forecast for Friday, .34 inch forecast now :)

Don apparently DF 65 is a big deal in racing R/C sailboats.

Thanks for the SkyView info. Tried to load it, however the App store says I can't have it at the moment, because I spent too much time clearing mortar out yesterday. My fingerprint has worn away.

Are there still some items, since Covid19, you have not been able to find?
Our usual soap.
Also I am down to my last few 40 grain 22cal Hornady VMax bullets. All the later day preppers must be stockpiling, none making it over to our shores for months.

Well, it looks like being a dry day, time for me to get mixing and make the most of the daylight. Hope everyone enjoys the day, especially BEF, Happy Birthday Dennis !

52 right now...high in the low 60's today

Dealer contacted me at work early yesterday...the wiper kit the received was the wrong one. Kit received was for a replacement wiper (for a previously factory installed wiper) so had no wiring harness and other parts for a new install. So, the proper kit was ordered and should be in early next week...bummer, but that's the way it is...
The early 40xx series rear wipers didn't clear the whole rear window. I think the older tractors (4x2x series like my 4520) must have had flat rear windows. The newer tractors have curved windows and for full coverage, require a curved blade.
Anyway, no delivery until next week...bummer, but no snow in the forecast, so I can deal with it...

Have a safe and healthy day all

good morning all
disappointing news Roy, sorry, just builds up the anticipation.

another foggy morning with temps in the sixties and low seventies today, then getting much cooler over the next week, I see 30's in the forecast.
This morning I go to Doylestown, the county seat, and where the main hospital is, for an endocrinologist appt, nice they got me in within a week of calling.
Since my adrenal glands were wacked by cancer, I have to take hydrocortisone daily and am very interested to know if I can finally get off that, assuming my body
is back doing its normal hormone work. I have also had half my thyroid taken out, one side, in a previous operation, so guess I'm stuck with hormone doc for duration.

Then this afternoon my lady friend comes back for a visit and we decide which curtains need to be hemmed and which we can leave alone.

My friend with the truck now tells me he wants to pull the trailer with his diesel Jeep Liberty, which is old and in my opinion not very reliable, plus it has less room inside. But it is rated for the same 5000 pounds as his Ridgeline, sort of scratch my head why he wouldn't want to take the more comfortable newer vehicle. Hope all this stuff fits, now that only trailer I can rent is 5x8.

going to order a bulb planter this morning and bulbs to plant in front mulched gardens and around the property. Always makes Spring even more interesting.

The vegan/lentil meat loaf wasn't very interesting but tasted ok. A little dry and mealy, but ok flavor. I think next time more veggies in it. I have always seasoned my normal meat loafs
with Pepperidge Farm stuffing, but I was good this time and added nothing to the recipe. Normally eggs would go in, for binding, which they say the flax seed does. It was filling...
When I was done, admit I thought, boy this would be better with a little sausage in it...;)

ditto on Buppies weather. Heavy fog here this AM.

Was laying 4x4 posts yesterday for the horse areas. Wife had the cool job of moving dirt and gravel. I was drenched in sweat and she asks me why I am so out of breath.

I guess when your in A/C and scooping stuff, you really don't know how hot it is outside? I just kept my mouth shut.

Could use some more "stone dust" to top it all off...not saying a word there, either.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe.

Better to do it right on the tractor Roy. No sense delivering with issues.

Ditto Buppies' weather, too.

Now we can say Happy Birthday BEF! Many more.

That's a lot of gravel, Buppies. I need a little for my driveway.

Sorry about the tractor, Roy. Getting it right in the beginning is important.

Saw no dogs on the trail yesterday, but did see deer, and the colors were getting better, including a little green...
