Son says the roof is 2-1/2" out of square and he dont know why so he left as is and started the tar paper today, has to get one more roll.

And I'm thinking these are the exact right logs for 2x4s and 1X6s! To cut one log and get 30-40 boards?? Sounds perfect to me! Wouldn't want to go through the hassle of having to cut 5-10 skinny logs to come up with the same amount of boards!

I guess that it would make him sick if he saw what we send to the studmill so they can make 2x4's...

They don't have to be very big. You just need a lot of them

We send those, also. Big, little, short, or tall, we send them every one.

I hear what you are saying. It's just that I am jealous of the wood you have down there for dimensional lumber compared to what I have up here. Believe me I would rather cut and limb one tree that has 100 or more 2 X 4's in it than have to cut and limb 25 trees to get 100.

Yes sometimes it is real sticky!! I got gloves I use just for those, and I take them off before I touch the steering wheel... Alcohol cuts it pretty good.

Best thing for getting pine sap off your hands: Rub them down with a bit of cooking oil, then wash hands normally with soap.

Lots of things work, I use WD40 most times, as I keep some handy for other things...
