No ... it was the pump.

At 13 years on the motor, it was probably due. One of the two torque arresters had failed, which probably contributed to its demise.

Jim, prayers sent for Wade, a real shock to the family I'm sure.

sat outside for an hour reading my book, lovely morning, then weedeater guy came with loud machine and that was too hard on my ears, came inside.

Chris, I'm with you, have never liked the smell of any manure. All that e coli out there... I think turkey manure is about the worst

Count me in on that, too, Chris. Many years ago I was motorcycle touring the Oregon coast, and there are a LOT of dairy farms. Wheeeeew! An acquaintance I caught up with had moved there a few years before had this quote from one of the dairy farmers to share: Everybody likes ice cream, but nobody likes the smell of manure. But to me, it smells like money.

I'll count my blessings I've never knowingly come across turkey manure. Pigs are the worst I've had to deal with.:laughing:

Yup, thanks ... nice to be able to get it resolved in less than 24 hours. Being without water is a real PITA.

Good Friday morning all -46 going up to 66 and more rain
Talked to the guy who installed my pool and he came over and found leak is behind pool wall under cement. So all that digging for nothing-started filling the pit back in yesterday- he will come back in a few months and we will remove a chunk of cement and we'll patch it up and he will do the fill pour for me.

BEF - seems I take a rock to the windshield on every truck - have fixed a few with one of those kits that was low enough to pass insepction.
TXDON - Raised beds look great now
LS-clean tractor and new wheels on the same day - lookin good
Mostly - Dinner tastes best when self caught!
RS - is the bladder suddenly depressurized or has it been doing this for a while, hopefully it will stay pressurized for you. Did you have to replace the whole pump?
Roy - Good luck with (hopefully)getting that tractor-looks nice
Wngsprd - Good news on Coco - maybe get cans of spray on hair for the bald spots

Ron - one happy looking woodpecker- and the tail balancing is interesting, not sure I have seen that-though their tail is used a lot when they hop around the trees side to side
Chris - sounds like a busy productive day - Walnuts?
Jim - our condolences for Wade-sad to hear at only 61
