Seem so 40 years ago big land owners in northern ME use to hire people to thin out under brush with brush saws, so much per acre. It would be a good way to get away from it all for those who like to get out in the big woods and chasing moose around.
I've been on this site for about 3 years and have enjoyed reading the posts but I guess it is time to earn my keep by posting some stuff. So here goes - trying to upload pic,
Not very exciting but it's a picture. Opening an old skid trail that has grown up in striped maple and beech saplings in the last 25 years. Just using a chain saw or forestry saw to cut at ground level. Then drag them to the side. Should finish tomorrow. That will make three days work - probably one day for a young ambitious guy
