What a throw back to those exciting times growing up.

Our last "splashdown" was Apollo Soyuz in 1975.

Missed the splashdown... I was outside working on the bench... I'll have to catch the repeats...

Got the slats and back all sanded and coated with Australian Timber Oil.... base is linseed oil with some other oils. Takes 24 hours to dry, so it will get assembled tomorrow. I am ok with that, the upper back / shoulder really started complaining. Not sure if caused from "leftover" stiffness from the fall or something else....

Neighbor is still not up to doing the post holes.... that is ok with me also! Today would have been a good day to do them... cloud cover all day, no rain.

Having an early dinner, homemade Italian meatballs and fusilli , with fresh baked Italian bread.

76F cloudy so far couple rain showers weatherman more on the way later tonight.

Decided to extend ditch more into the woods about 12'L,18"W,2'D with shovel and pick 3+ hours later for the weatherman saying 3" to 4" rain come Tuesday into Wednesday,between boney ground along with high humidity blue jean were soaking wet from sweating...just getting to darn old for putter job as such.

Not much plan for this even other than good dinner setting on the deck.

Got the acrylic sheet fitted and installed. Looks good, but best of all wife is happy.

Now I have a piece leftover suitable for golf cart windshield

My zucchini chicken casserole came out very tasty with compliments from wife.

Need to fashion something to stiffen at top and bottom, otherwise think I’ll enjoy it

It got pretty wild .. weather wise .. from about 5:40 to 6:30 p.m.

1 1/2" of rain, lightning, and wind gusts over 40 mph. Bright sunshine by 7 p.m.





We've got tree limbs .. large and small .. down every where near the house. Haven't been out to any pastures yet. Cleanup day tomorrow. It good to have two grapples .. I guess?
