Unless there was a video of the tug of war, it didn't happen.
I can only complain about myself as I would rather just check out myself.

There wasn't any tug of war, and she definitely won. She was sticking to her training or her lie, I don't know which. I normally do check out myself if the amount is small to moderate, but I had a cart full of groceries.

I believe your conversation was well intended and polite, but I don't blame the cashier for their indifference. Do you really think there is a chance in #$! that Walmart management is in any way interested in listening to the suggestions from a cashier? They have a terrible record on how they treat their employees.

Manager probably said to spin it clockwise but that probably confused them as they only use digital clocks.

Self check out for me, every time. No worries about carousels or if the kid bags canned goods on top of bread. Easy peasy at my pace, which varies from day to day.

I know of a situation where a resturant employee did not put mayonnaise on a sandwich "properly" and got a reprimand with a threat of being fired. So I can see the cashier's point. If that's what management said, that's what she'd do, regardless if it made sense.

Now the mayonnaise is accompanied with a glob of spit. GREAT!

They probably spin it that way so they don't get pinched between the carousel and the table.

One thing I noticed about wearing a mask around other peeps...you can still smell their perfume and their bo and farts...if those molecules pass through the masks we're supposed to believe viruses won't ?
Also with most of the masks people are using you can easily blow out a match or a candle...but they are supposed to stop a virus from passing through?
