It is pretty lame but probably worked if he didn't turn tightly.Is there anything wrong with this load??

It probably worked out ok, but the effects of the negative tongue weight was probably negated by the lumber self aligning with the bed...

Maybe if you only stacked half a width stack you might get by with it but like it is I don’t think there’s any chance of it working.
