67 cloudy degrees this morning, going for a high of 81. The yard was still wet from all the rain we've had lately, and there was some dew on the grass with no breeze this morning. But it hadn't been moved in 8 days and needed it very badly, so I got that done this morning.

Drew, sorry to hear you're having so much trouble, but hang in there and hopefully it'll get better.

70 going up to 77, no rain in the forecast, too bad it's raining :)
Washer has a failed inverter so on order $245 (ouch!)

Drew , glad the farm is moving on so it's one less worry for you. Hope the Chemo is the fix so we get you back on here!

All the projects are making me jealous as I seem to be spending all my time with my day job and fixing not so old appliances.

Stay safe and be well.

That's a tough row to hoe, Drew. Good thing you put in all that work scaling back and cleaning out; almost like you knew something like this was going to happen. Sorry you're going through all that, but your prognosis sounds promising. I know you're not a sit still kinda guy, but try to do what the doctors and therapists say, and take it easy on yourself, OK? And know that our thoughts are with you!

You got this, Drew. Give it HE77.

I'm kind of in the same boat, Ken. The four days off last weekend drove home the point that I'm spending too much time at my day job, too. Need to work on that.

Good Morning!!!! 75F @ 6:45AM. Abundant sunshine. High 104F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

Glad you got the refund, Don, but sorry for what you had to go through. I'm starting to rethink the Prime membership, as two day free shipping has turned into free two week shipping, and lots of merchandise is "no longer available". And I'm finding better prices elsewhere, using FedEx and UPS that don't have the same long delivery times. Was hail at your place really baseball sized?

Another fine project bites the dust, Ted. Yer givin' RS a run for his money!

Thanks for the info on the Ubiquity stuff, David. Here's a link that looks promising. Hope you and Randy get through the back trouble soon! The guys at the local HD that load the concrete sacks are pretty good at hiding the holes.:grumpy:

That's a LOT of rain, Buppies! Hope you don't lose any more trees.

Good to hear racing is back on, Rich. Good luck to your rider!

Finally got the license plate sticker from California DMV earlier in the week, which showed a refund for the penalty that was mischarged. Yesterday the check showed up, with no explanation for the mischarge, of course. Funny how they're real good at cashing checks, and it takes 'em forever to write one.

Decided to take advantage of morning shade at the dirt pile to screen another couple of buckets for the trench. Finished that around noon, had lunch, cleaned off the welding table, and since the solar contractor was a no show, headed into town on a grocery run. Still no word from them this morning, and now I'm wondering if they'll be able to deliver as promised. We're due for more rain on Saturday, and I sure as heck don't want to have to shovel out that trench again.

Today's looking like an inside day with moving a couple of bookcases on the agenda. My turn to complain about a sore back...

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

"I'm starting to rethink the Prime membership, as two day free shipping has turned into free two week shipping, and lots of merchandise is "no longer available"."

I ordered a replacement ignition, for my Polaris Ranger, from Amazon, Tuesday evening and it shows "out for delivery" on USPS today. Good price (less than half of what Polaris dealer charges) and 2 day delivery.

The original switch's internal spring, that returns it from "start" to "run", is weak and doesn't always work.

I haven't experienced any unreasonable deliveries since this started for Prime items. I have found a few things I could buy elsewhere for lower cost though.

Drew,

Thanks for the update.

Best wishes for a quick and complete recovery.

Hang in there ...

Hang in there Drew. You've got a lot of prayers coming your way from the TBN crew.

72F and cloudy @ 12:00, had rained at some point earlier, ground is wet. Lots of showers in the region, but Weather Bug is predicting 0% chance for the remainder of the day, with the possibility of some sun later.

Had just checked UPS Tracking on the wrench delivery from McMaster a few minutes prior, when I heard the UPS driver pull and toot his horn. Rechecked it within a minute or two after he rang the doorbell and the website had already updated to show that it had been delivered ...

It's another Martin Tools wrench - this time however they delivered the McMaster packing job I'm normally used to: the wrenches (which tend to be oily) was enclosed in a separate plastic bag ... so that it didn't contaminate the packing slip ... :D

Hopefully sun will materialize and things will dry out a bit.

Have grocery pick up later.
