No, he is too far away - about 2.5 hours one way. He was good.

This dentist sent out another e-mail saying that they made a mistake and the sanitization fee will be only $20 instead of $50. Ha, I bet people were canceling like crazy and they were forced to be reasonable. I'm still going to try a different dentist. He was kind of expensive last time anyway.

No mud in the park and more people are showing up to work, fun day. The park was mulching but still couldn't catch up with us and we left them with 6 big piles.

Yea, I’d be one of the cancellations. Gonna guess that fee doesn’t get covered under insurance either.

LS, maybe some drone time will let you know what type of nudist colony your neighbor is running behind that big wall. :)

Sodamo, Or maybe not LOL. That's a good attitude.

H*ll I like them just to watch the dog watch the cattle . . . :)

Maybe one more....the short way home is across these fields

Steve McQueen Motorcycle Jump in The Great Escape - YouTube

Nice ride.

Ron, nice video. Beautiful place.

RNG, I'm watching closely. Did you have to curse to get that hoe off? :)

Don, maybe the Thunderbirds made your bread fall. :) we have the best price point dentist here in Giddings, not sure how he will handle the Covid. He gives out small tubes of Crest or Colgate at Halloween. He lent me a book last year (yes, I got it back to him), Justinian's Flea. About Roman/Turkish history back around 500AD.

Eric, the good thing about going fishing and not catching much is, you don't have much to clean. I like me some fish n chips, if the fish is from cold salt water origin. So much fish is mislabeled nowadays. They are supposed to put the country of origin on it, but sometimes it's not even the correct breed of fish as labeled.

Jay- my deceased brother used to play that TM Fishing song. He also played an old song by Leadbelly about the Titanic (Fare thee well) that was funny. Yes, we are anticipating more stormy weather down here through Saturday.

My 14yo daughter is learning a song by Lisa Loeb "Stay (I missed you)" on her guitar. She's getting better by the day when she practices, but she's still shy about singing. I tried to tell her that you can get better at singing by practicing that too. Heads up, girl song, but nicely done compared to much of today's music. It was done about 26 years ago.

Randy, glad to hear Ellen got that taken care of. Hope all is well.

Molalla, usually the dog chases the drone. I saw in Ron's video at some point the neighbors dog running around on the driveway.

Prayers for Drew. and the rest of our crew.

Good evening all. 64F for the start, 1/4 inch in rain gauge, overcast. Wind picked quickly, cloud thinned late morning, high temp was 85F. Bike ride early to try to beat wind gusts were up to 30 during ride. Cooked a hello fresh for lunch and took a nap. need to get the trimming done, way behind on that.
Covid update: Cooke 13 confirmed, 10 recovered, Montague unchanged, Grayson 122 confirmed cases.

Song is pretty

Back from AR. Over 2000 miles in 3 days. 800 miles first day. Next day was 500 miles total. 200 miles , pack sons stuff, drive 2 vehicles 300 miles back the other way, today was 700 miles.
Some heavy rain in VA tonight.

Good news is Honda started right up after sitting 2.5 months. Front tires a little low, pumped them with my jump starter/compressor. Car has caked on pollen, was parked under trees. Took it thru a car wash, still has caked on pollen.

Both vehicles now need oil change.

Good morning all. High pressure is still with us and keeping the rain away, though may get some light cloud today to take away the sun's glare.

It has been too cold to paint the water tank cover I made a while ago with epoxy, at the time I gave it a quick zinc coating and forgot about it until a couple of weeks ago. Now it is warming up I thought I would indulge in more fabrication fun and make an octagonal frame to support it, instead of fixing directly onto the tank walls. This is it tacked together, which was a good excuse to get the tractor out to hep with the trial cover fitting.

Rich, great pics, just a shame someone left a bike obscuring part of both images. :D
Only kidding, bet it felt great to be out riding again.
