I hear quite often that "A Womans work is never done". Traditional Wives and Mothers worked very hard for all their life. They never seemed to "Retire" like the men do.

Yes, Honesty with your Spouse is very important but at times, "Silence is Golden".

Hey I just did a great job in lying to the wife and it was a win/win for me if she believed me or not.

She just served up a half dozen little caprese salads on dried garlic bread. She came back around to grab one and asked how many I already ate. I said two... hoping to get another one. She didn't believe me. But in recognizing that I must of really liked them, she let me have number 4!

I kind of do the same thing. I can tell by just one look at my wife's face and know I'm in for a donnybrook. It is a very rare happening, but when it does come I just tell her," OK, let's go... get it out so we can move on".

But what do you do when she asks a pointed question... a second time, because you didn't answer! It can go South in a hurry.
