Good morning!!!!

Rain started and ran me in about the time I was getting to the mowing. Tried to beat the rain on a few things, but took time out this morning to go to pickup our online Walmart order. I know some of you have probably been doing groceries that way for a while, but we've always rather enjoyed browsing the grocery store and picking our own produce, etc. So we went to town for the first time in 2 weeks.

The Walmart online ordering process was easy and smooth...I originally set it up and placed an order...my wife went back into the pending order and added to it a couple of times yesterday since it didn't get locked down until this morning. Then sent us an email this morning that they were fulfilling our order and that they would make substitutes (unless we objected) for 4 items out of stock...all of the substitutes were actually better quality/higher priced, but provided at no extra charge. Later they texted that the order was ready for pickup. My wife had to download their app on her phone on the drive there and using GPS, their system knew we were 3 minutes away and told us to use a designated parking spot which was at the rear side of the store near their loading dock...the app asked what make and color of vehicle.

Couple of minutes later, a nice fella rolled out some crates with our bagged groceries and helped us load everything into her SUV. I signed his pad and then we took off our gloves and drove home. Everything was EZ PZ.

Only objection was that the "protocol" was not followed...we were definitely in too close contact...and he did not wear mask or gloves. Overall, I think better than being in the store: only in contact with one person, and with the items we would ultimately own.

We wiped down boxes and bagged stuff, or washed the produce, when we got home and threw away their plastic bags (we usually recycle). I figure we were 90 to 95% "safe."

My wife said she actually liked the convenience of shopping online and then just picking it up, but being fixed into a pickup time slot and doing the wipedown process were no fun.

Then got an emailed receipt and survey.

I suppose we're bound to see more and more improvised survival solutions being passed around on social media, but this may be one of the strangest ways I've seen to use an Instant Pot.

Please pass the Welshes!

The time of that article was only 25 hours into the 48 hour cooking and 8-30 day sit time before tasting. Before I have one of my Instant Pots out of service for 48 hours I need someone to taste test the wine.

One that has me wondering about tracked vehicles is if the tracks tend to come off when side hilling.

They can, at least on our little crawler we had. Turn a certain way on a hillside would throw it, but only happened a couple times over several years.

I saw Costco had chicken and burgers so I placed an online order, but Friday delivery, so I’m sure it will be out again by then.
Also ordered more ribs for the IP.

Overcast chilly day. 54°

Welcome to GM, E42!:welcome:

Is it yours? If so, too bad you're not in the neighborhood!

That monster would make short work of the trenching I just finished, a lot of it through rock, and would be a good worker for the gravel spreading I was doing yesterday. It would have been a lot more stable when traversing the side hill on the way to where the gravel is going, too. Maybe I need to get like Drew and have an implement, or in this case, a vehicle, for every purpose?

One that has me wondering about tracked vehicles is if the tracks tend to come off when side hilling.

It looks like a 450 John Deere. The tracks on this side look O.K. IF the tracks are properly adjusted AND the side hill isn't too steep, then you should be okay. I worried more about roll over than anything else when I ran them.
I just took a good long and hard look at that track loader, the grousers on the tracks are about wore out. Whomever buys it will be rebuilding the stabalizer cylinders, both of them.

We’ve been doing that for two years, hit a glitch now and then but overall very smooth.

Good evening all. 51F for the start, overcast, .7 inch in rain gauge, windy. Wind peaked before noon and has backed off to near calm, overcast eased off to almost clear, and high temp was 66F. Slow start this morning, cleaned up kitchen, made lunch, stepdaughter got us started on 3 hello fresh meals a week, 2 were good and the 3 was ok but a lot of work, the other two were chicken spaghetti, and ground pork street tacos. Did get a bike ride today but no nap, by time I recovered and could go to sleep, it was too late. So I will cat up tomorrow as I am too tired tonight :(
prayers for all.
stay safe and healthy.

Neighbors cat that lives here got trapped in the barn last night. Sometimes It goes in there when I mow. I called for it last night after mowing in case it went in, but no response. Tonight I go to barn and it hops off the ZT seat. It likes to lay there when it gets in.

Was chilly out, in 40s. Used ranger to pick up weeds wife pulled out of flower beds. Dumped that over the hill.

USPS didn’t deliver the missing amazon items that I’m trying to get. I think they lost them. If you look at tracking it says I redirected them ( which I didn’t) and now I changed the delivery date (I’m only trying to get USPS to do their job). On a different item my son ordered, amazon gave status that the package was lost.

Raining now.
