Grow up watching TV in the 1960's and 1970's? Then you would think anyone cutting an onion would have to bawl their heads off in tears. It's not so. Can irritate the eyes but nothing near as bad as represented. Same is true of Taco Bell.

Remember buying some hamburgers from an outback butcher about 35 years ago, country people didn't like anything with a bit of chilli but these got me twice, first the back of the throat then the following day thinking I had given birth to red hot barbed wire laced with broken glass.
He called them ringstinger rissoles.

Yup, the chili can heat you up twice, assuming you don't poke yourself in the eye too.

When I lived in NM, we used to eat the hot Mexican dinners and follow it up with ice cream. You could sometimes hear moans coming from the rest room at work the next day, followed by the lament "Come on Ice Cream!".

The supermarkets are returning to a state of normality and TP is available at the usual prices, one well known brand $5 for 12 rolls (could be more), the people on ebay who grabbed all they could and selling it on ebay for $50 I hope get stuck with it as the supermarkets declared a non return policy on TP and other essentials that were panic bought by greedy opportunists.

Little St Helens got 'hit' by one of those mini-coach, Asian* loaded, TP hit squads a few days ago. As soon as the IGA owner recognised what was happening he chased them off, then alerted all of the other grocery stores in the Shire.

My Grandfather had an outdoor privy in his old farm home; it had a plaque which read "WPA 1938". He had a bag of corn cobs, mixed, both red and white. The instructions said "Use red cob first, then use white cob to see if you need to use another red cob".

Glad to hear it. Wifey went to wal-mart supermarket today and got about everything she wanted. Of course not TP, but she did come home with 1 box of Kleenex tissues. Limit 1 box per person. Guess if we run out of TB we could use that. . But we have enough TP to last for a while so not worried. Surely the hoarders will get tired of hoarding pretty soon.

It appears to be about 36 grit.
I kinda like it.
But it would be nice to finish with a finer grit.

The New York Times delivers TP to the door on a daily basis, extra on Sunday.

We went to the store after my wife's blood draw. Not too crowded. Plenty of water. Limiting TP to one package per cart. Plenty of produce and the butcher store was well stocked. This is farm country and we don't have any cases in our county ... yet. We have 11+ acres and stay at home a lot anyhow. We moved my MIL in with us a week ago to get her away from the Senior Community where she was self-isolating.Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst. But not hoarding a **** thing.

There wasn't any on the shelf last week when my wife was looking, but when she asked the clerk, that was their policy. They weren't putting it on the shelf, but making people ask so they could limit what people were buying.
