Ron, I am not sure about anything at the moment. The pan bolts were tight. The only other cause would be the valve cover gasket and I haven't gotten around to that yet. I will keep an eye on the oil level. I check it EVERY time I fire up the tractor anyway.
I have one other option open to me, send it to the dealer and let him pull his hair out.

Raining pretty good here might take us out of work today

Good Morning!!!! 62F @ 5:00AM. Plentiful sunshine. High near 80F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.
If it breaks 80F today, it'll be the first time this year, and one of the earliest times it has done so.

I don't know what's in this stuff, but it works really well. I had one of those split skin things on my thumb, next to the nail, before I started the concrete work yesterday, and by the end of the day, it was larger and really sore. Three applications and a good night's rest later, the soreness is gone and the wound has closed up.

Yesterday's market rebound put a quick end to my attempt to do some bottom fishing. But with four more deaths in Washington state, I don't think CoVid-19 is anywhere near done with us yet. Thanks for posting good, practical, advise, Ron. No more handshakes for me, at least for the foreseeable future.

Got an early start yesterday, at least for me, and was mixing concrete again by 9AM. Would have started earlier, but I took some time to make a sheet metal collar to form the concrete at the top of the post hole. It came out surprisingly round, up until a bag of concrete slid in the bed of the side-by-side and turned it into an oval, and remained somewhat misshapen in spite of my best efforts to repair it. Didn't end up using it anyway, and just dug out a little dirt from the edge of the hole when it got almost full, and 80 bags of concrete later, all the posts have nice round pads of concrete around them, with the posts mostly centered. Used every bag I had on hand, and could have used a few more. But by the time I was out of concrete, my butt was making a third track and my back was looking forward to a strong adult beverage or three. for purely analgesic reasons, of course.:D

The old concrete mixer pretty much ran all day yesterday, with only one hiccup when the lever used to tip the drum came off. All that vibration loosened the nut on the bolt that secures it, but the junk bin held a nyloc replacement that should be more permanent. I think a couple of tack welds could also quiet some of the rattling the things makes, so maybe I'll find time to do that today, too.

With the warmer temperatures over the next few days, I'll try to get a few things on the van painted, if the wind ever stops. I'm already seeing 20 MPH gusts this morning.:confused3:

Think I'll get the braces off the solar grid posts today, and get the drain line laid and buried out at the shipping container. Somewhere in there the building inspector is supposed to show up; maybe they'll have a time window posted on their web site a little later.

Good morning! 64˚F heading to the mid 70's cloudy high humidity.

Muggy in the mid seventies yesterday and when I came home from Cards last night (won 4 of 5, back in my grove) the AC was on for the first time in months. My wife reported no mildew smell so the UV light we had installed in the ductwork right above the evaporator coils works.

Did a run to Mom's yesterday to restock her groceries and did her taxes, missing out on a trail blazing day, just too many things all at once. Still waiting for the morning e-mail to see where on the trail we will meet today.

Drew I know lyme disease is terrible but felling bad without a cause is worse.

RNG those bags of cement sound like a good days workout.

I usually get a new vehicle after 125K miles or 10 years whichever comes first. Since moving to town the 10 years will come first, in the country the millage hit in about 6 years.

52 going to 65, sun giving way to clouds and showers later.
Broke my phone screen yesterday. Put my hand on my pocket and bent down, felt it pop. I’ve done it a thousand times before.
Great pics Rick.
I hope all are feeling better and have good days.
Prayers.

My phone almost got nailed yesterday too, Randy.

Had it in a front pocket and caught myself leaning on the wheelbarrow with the phone caught between it and my leg. Then later, a bunch of concrete powder spilled and a handful ended up in that same pocket. The Otterbox case saved the phone i both instances, but I had to strip the phone out of the thing to clean it up.

41°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 60° today.

Started shopping around a bit yesterday. Cast a wider net than just the Kia dealer in O'Fallon IL that we usually use. Probably going to get another Kia. Not sure what, yet, but I know it won't be the Telluride. That's way more vehicle than I either want or need. The Soul was just about perfect. Big enough to haul plenty of music equipment, but still small enough to get decent gas mileage. My daily work commute is about 90 miles roundtrip. Previous job was 120 r/t. So, yeah, the miles pile up quickly. They have a new small SUV/crossover/whatever they want to call it called the Seltos that appears to fall somewhere between the Soul and the Sportage. Looks interesting, but not sure I want to be a new model guinea pig.

Lost in all the vehicle hoopla was the storms that passed through Sunday night. Was supposed to just be a little rain, but turned out to be some rather energetic storms. Lots of rumbling and flashing, and apparently some wind, as The Wife told me yesterday morning that the flagpole was on the ground. She said she went out and picked up the flag, and noted that it had only been buried maybe a foot deep. This was one of those jobs last summer she asked her nephew to do when he was staying with us, so I wasn't surprised at all.

More rumbly stuff last night again, but the severe stuff stayed to the south of us. Hope anyone here in the Middle-Tennessee area survived unscathed. They got really hammered.

Hope your doctor can get your issues sorted out for you, Drew. Sucks to not know what's going on.
