Those look like R1 tires don't they? I think this could settle the argument over which tires provide the best traction.

From what I remember, it needed to be backed on to get the balance right, but there were extenuating circumstances (someone pulling in front of the truck and trailer).That's what I was thinking, also. Perhaps he could swap his strapping expertise for driving lessons.

My guess the transport trucks do not have enough tires on the ground to support the load. Jon

Gotta be staged. There would hardly be a route they could take, even if that side by side arrangement could work.
Yeah, but those big off road trucks often weigh over 500 tons. Those axles would have be well over twice the capacity of normal tractor trailer axles. I guess it's possible but I would expect to see more axles.
