With all the racial controversy they soon will have to drop "Black Friday" as the do gooders will declare it to be racial profiling.

I've already heard complaints to the effect that it is a racial thing.

The background is that it is supposed to be when retailers go from unprofitable (in the red) to profitable (in the black), but it seems that anything that mentions black becomes a racial issue. I'm wondering when the black paint itself becomes a racial issue. Let's see: repaint black cars, BBQs, etc. ???

Tractor Supply has a 60 gal. Dewalt Air Compressor for 100.00 off.. price now is 459.00 & I just bought a new one last week & paid 500.00 from Home Depot..
I didnt even stop to think about "Black Friday" sales..

You've been thinking about it for a while. Hopefully it will do everything you want it for... otherwise you will need to upgrade to a TLB.

Two items caught my eye today in the Home Depot flyer -- and since I don't like shopping on Black Friday, I did an online order and will pick them up at the store next week. First was this Bosch laser level for half price:

Over the past few years, I have been upgrading my ladders since Lowes and HD always seem to have them on sale for Black Friday. Last one I needed was an 8 footer, as my old wooden one (from the 1980s) was rickety and it weighs 45#. I have been carrying that guy up and down stairs long enough to realize a lighter ladder would be nice, and the fiberglass one is 25#, a pretty good weight reduction.

Go from 8 ft to 10 ft, price doubles. Ouch.
