Checking In:
I found some expired combivent inhalers that still had some active ingredient last night which helped airflow, but I still had night sweats so profuse that I now have my bedding drying in the sun outdoors and the ceiling fan blowing on the mattress below. I would have been drier if I was bladder incontinent. My coughed up stuff is losing color and I had enough lung function and strength to walk the lower perimeter. Based on this "evidence" I am probably going to shake this illness w/o needing to see any doctor
. The tractor started per "NH Boomer" fashion and ran w/o any evidence of water in the fuel mix.
All the lights work except my added ROP lights; I need to replace the connector into the tractor's wiring harness. I actually already have a compatible dipole connector. Like BEF my "batteries" are drained today. Despite with which I am currently dealing there are definite signs of improvement. I do not mind the night sweats if I can breath freely and have the energy to maintain physical activity. Something is going on. It could be my body's response the allergens (I essentially have 6 acres of goldenrod in the lower field.). I do have an appointment Thursday with my GI doctor. We'll see.
I've been following this thread. As to the kayaking. Our kayaks are not really designed for large open bodies of water. At 9'6" they are small enough to easily maneuver in bogs and the inlets and outlets of the lakes we visit. We have enough bodies of water and streams w/i a 2 hour drive to keep us paddle-busy for a long time. My preference are bogs, backwaters, and small streams where one finds the best opportunities for observing wildlife. I do not think there are any kayaks with more initial stability. I have kayaked safely in Class 2 waters. Our kayaks are pretty rugged and cheap; our paddles cost more than the kayaks. I am still hoping to get a little more time on the water.
Roy- I hope you respond to the antibiotics and the dry sockets heal quickly.
BEF- I hope you can recharge quickly and post more activities today.
Phil- I hope you find some allergy relief soon.
I am missing a few specific + thoughts; but I hope everyone has a decent day today.
My + thoughts and prayers.
