you got that right. It takes me over 3 hours to chain up the tractor, but 30 min to remove the chains. The hydraulic system snd blower add another 2 hours for installation, but since i always have to clean and touch up paint on them, it takes just as long to remove. Then i have to remove all summer items from barn and place all winter items in their place. This is about a 4 hour ordeal. Only good thing is it allows me to clean up the building and reorganize everything. Its amazing how many “so thats where that went” times i find.

Yes, I am going to look forward to the spring clean up. I store my winter items on pallets under tarps behind the pole barn. I have to move my trailer to get them around back but I still have piles of snow where I park the trailer in the good weather. Maybe i'll put the FEL on and do some work on that tommorow.

Dropped the chains off the tractors and swapped out the studded snows from my pickup and my wife's car for the summer tires,
so now it's time for a big April storm.

I am going to wait another week or so for that. The tractor is just sitting anyway. If I'm going to entice a big April storm might as well do it later to maximize the agony because I am a sadist.

I wouldn't have but a fair amount of paved road travel coming up for the tractor, I may wish they where on when I get into some of the muddy spots :confused3:

Finally took my rear blower out of the garage, and placed it on a pallet with a tarp for the season. We had a storm about a week ago dropping about 5". I tried to clean it up, with a rear blade, but the ground is so soft that the driveway was taking a beating so I gave up. Took about 4 more days, and it's all gone.
It was a long cold winter here glad it's over.

I think I am ready for winter with my newly acquired L4240HSTC and my Prime Attachment snow pusher. This thing is built like a tank!
