I'd like to add a step to the right side of my 3510. It's got the mounting holes already there for a step (same as the left side), but the Kioti step won't work, because of the loader hoses and bracket that are underneath the right hand side. Has anyone fabricated their own step, and have any pictures to share?

I believe the bracket that's in the way is where the Kioti 3rd function kit mounts. Right now, the loader hoses are simply zip tied to this bracket. I'm thinking about just removing the bracket, ordering a Kioti step, and zip tying the hoses to the back of the step, but I'm not sure if there's enough slack in the hoses for this to work.

If you come up with a solution please let us know. I’ve been wondering the same

the hoses are pretty tight from they factory. They did not spare a mm of it...lol....
Can't hurt to try the relocation first to give it the official swag and see if the idea will pan out.
I do have an idea to share though on those hyd. hoses.
Mine were starting to fray at that same location. Went to a Hyd. shop and bought about 20' of spiral wrap. Wrapped about 8 inches on all four hoses that may rub against the frame and the ones on the FEL. So now they have UV protection and abrasion protection.
Share some pics and maybe one our creative members can spot an idea that may have been missed or overlooked.

There is a picture on here somewhere but I can't remember which thread. The guy welded a step almost identical to the factory one and bolted it on. Looked pretty clean.
Seems it can be done.

Edit - I found the post.

Thanks for the link. That is a different tractor though, it doesn't have the loader hoses in the way. I'll have to take some pictures later of my ck3510 and post them here. I'm sure I can fabricate a step, I'll just have to bend the pieces in such a way to clear the hoses. Was just hoping someone here had done it on a 3510, always easier to fabricate something when you have an example to base it on lol.

Your right different model.
The hoses on mine seem to be routed out of the way. I just took a look. I don't see anything that would be in the way of mounting the step same as the other side.

Here's a couple pictures of my ck3510se. First is the step on the left. Then you can see the mounting holes are there on the right side, there's just a little bracket welded in the way, with the loader hoses zip tied to it. I think I could build my own step, by not making it as wide as the left one, and doing some creative bends to get around that bracket and hoses. Just seems silly that they'd go through the effort of drilling and tapping those mounting holes, but then put the hoses right in the way.

Mine I is about the same. I think they way the factory step comes out from the side it would clear all that. Easy test would be to unbolt the one on the left side and see how it lines up. I am interested in this too. I find myself on/off the right side half the time. I even have a 3rd function but there is no box just a valve mounted by the quick connects.

I tried. It does not clear. It's not even really close. The vertical part of the step hit's the bracket/hoses. I plan on fabricating my own at some point, but it's not a pressing project, so it might not happen til next winter. If I make one that's narrower, it would fit, and could even still use the existing mounting holes. Here's a very crude MSpaint drawing of what I'm thinking. The factory step drawn on the left, the plan for the right side drawn to the right.

I would agree a narrower step should work fine, can you put both feet on the factory step and or do you really need to put both feet on it.
