The skidsteers are handy pieces of equipment.
My nephew picked up a cat one this winter for brush hogging.
I hadn't climbed into one for several years, after climbing into his a few times.
I would definitely recommend a hard look at the JCB line of single boom units.

At my age and size it is a job getting into and out of his,
once in it's not bad, it wasn't bad a dozen years ago either.
I would also definitely recommend the AC, you are sitting right in front of a lot of heat producing hydraulics
as well as a hot engine.

Interesting info on coasting, the car does this controlled coasting automatically and I don’t know if or why I should turn it off. I’d like to read the California law to see if this feature is legal in California.

I definitely have more than one groundhog, there are at least two different colors of them. One stands on his haunches on the mound and whistles.

I pick my grandson up from school today and go to his baseball game. Gotta get a battery for the little Craftsman mower I bought for Ellen last year, her son mows with it now, he and his girlfriend live there, but typical of young folks, if I don’t get a battery, it will just sit.

The low was 36° this morning. Today will be sunny with a high in the low 70's with a chance of a thunderstorm later this afternoon.

I spent most of last week on jury duty. It was for a homicide case, that's is something I hope to never do again. Friday afternoon the wife and I went down to SLC to see the daughter and the grandsons. Sunday morning my daughters boyfriend took the grandsons turkey hunting. I went a long just for the fun of it. I have never been on a turkey hunt before. He couldn't get the tom's to come in but we did see a few hen's.

I need to go back and see what everyone has been up to. I haven't been on here for awhile.

RNG, good luck on your skid steer search. BTW, I pay more than $15/gal for my motor oil (syn). Sorry you've had bad experience with Kubota. The gly case is complicated, and the award is misleading, but the nitrile gloves are always a good idea when using any chemicals...and of course never when any winds.

Good morning to all! Low of 42, good up to 68, sunny. Supposed to get windy and cooler the next 2 days...Oh joy!

Yesterday I was able to get into the shop for a few hours and work on the quilt rack for the wifey. Today will involve the same. Need to get it done so I can play with the tractor without feeling guilty. I have procrastinated on making it, don't know why, just couldn't get in the mood for woodworking....

Good morning all,

50 this morning and very nice outside. Blue sky and barely a breeze.

Yesterday started out the same. About 3 pm it started blowing and raining hard for about an hour. Then cleared up and was nice again.:confused3: I'll take it, my fields are prepared and ready for growth.:thumbsup: Prior to the rain I got the oil changed in my tractor and Harley. I'm ready for summer.

Good morning.. 52 out and slowly climbing to 68. Wish the rain would stay out of central Indiana. Yard needs mowed, and my yard stay wet for a few extra days after rain. (drainage problems) need to get to bed since I work midnights.
