It was 66°F this morning and clear as a bell. It's now 84° and a bit warmish.

At first light, I saw a Tom turkey, walking down the middle of our road, following three hens. Tried to get a picture but he was too far away.

Spent most of the day mowing at our Volunteer Fire Dept. Took tractor and 3-point chain harrow down to clean up some recent hog damage. Then drove some 3/8" rebar into the ground to mark the sprinkler heads, for the aerobic septic system there, and put some 30" capped pvc pipe sections over the rebar, to keep people from running over the heads.

Happy Birthday Ted and Thomas.

Kyle, hope your on the mend.

Hope everyone has an excellent weekend.

Prayers to all.

We have birthday boys, happy birthday Thomas and Ted. :drink:

Long day, on my feet a lot, couldn't wait to come in and sit down.
And then talked to the hot tub guy.
Well there's this custom union on the top of the something or other that has cracked and no it's a factory part apparently
which certainly makes one wonder. I asked about local plumbing supply house and that was a big no.
So all the water ran out.

time to download some new books from Amazon Prime all you can read for ten bucks a month.
Big part of my entertainment thankfully inexpensive.

it was a tobaccer day

Thanks for all the tire sealant information. I did order those inner-tubes, but I still have 2 leaking garden cart tires, and to make things all the more interesting for tires this rainy weekend my Tundra's "low tire" warning light came on this AM.

FWIW EVERY pneumatic tubeless tire I've purchased at Harbor Freight has been a slow leaker. I threw the last pair away and got new ones from McMaster-Carr and they've been trouble free. I won't buy tubes from HF, either. And as an added bonus, the rubber compound HF uses stinks to high heaven!:yuck:

You're a good man, Rick.

But if someone wants to run over the sprinkler heads, they're gonna do it, PVC pipes or not.

On the news last night, there was a story about some idiot in a big 4x4 truck running over 85 bee hives, causing something like $30K in losses. They have a picture of the truck, but the plate is not real clear. What makes people do stuff like that?:smiley_aafz:
