Good morning!!!!

Good evening all. 25F this morning, clear, light wind. Wind stayed light, sky went from clear to mostly cloudy in the afternoon, and high temp of 46F. Stove duty today, had to go pick up Scooter at stepdaughter's neighbor, bike ride early afternoon, no nap :(, and dog walk.
I am a me too with Ron's comments, seems like folks on GM have had more issues lately, had to remember them all. I will go advanced and hopefully someone has posted responses to ailments. Y'all do need to start healing sometime soon.
PJ used to work near Grand and Broadway, there were times I got moved to second shift that I wished I could have carried. My map would look like your except I lived west on I-70 instead of east of MS. R.
Rich, friend of mine from HS raced motocross in college, I think he ran a Bultaco for a while.
Rick that was a nasty looking accident. Thanks for sharing the funeral.
RNG it is a challenge to get things repaired sometime unless somelone listens to what you NEED!
prayers for all.

17 right now...high today about 20. Looks like (based upon the snow on the hoods and roofs of the tractor and pickup) about 8" of fresh snow. Just plugged the tractor in so I should be ready to start clearing in about an hour.

slow and steady Roy, stay vertical.

up too early, going to be a busy day. Almost no rain here, gauge shows .02 which maybe maybe means
tomorrow I finally might get into the fields. Five straight days of dry weather in forecast. Time to plant.
Australia unfortunately is going through a record heat wave and drought, Roy is pushing snow, and I'm planting cabbages.

Don, that's going to be a fun garden and having everything "up" is really nice on your back.
What is your bonus plant in the center? Must be something useful, looks like fennel or maybe a root vegetable

once upon a time, in a galaxy far away...I owned a Bultaco 125 with knobbies. Had fun driving it around family farm, a real mountain goat, it would go places
I sure wouldn't.

Good morning. All is quiet outside, at least until I started to walk and heard the ice crunch. The mud is solid enough this morning, thanks to an overnight low of -5C/23F, with only a thin dusting of snow on top of yesterdays frozen sleet.

It has made quite a change to be without broadband for a few days. The engineer found one fault easy, but it turned out not to be the one causing the problem. Three days later they came back and put up new cable between 5 poles. Now data is flying over the wires faster than it has ever done before - way down on what is available in most towns, but not bad at all for a more rural place like this.

Yall stay warm somehow up there. It's a 3 dog night.
Thanks Kyle, before you said that, I thought it was just a strange name for a band, so I searched further (at 10 Mbps, latency 19ms :)) !) Three Dog Night - Band Name Explained I learn something new here every day.

after my freshman year in college, 1968, I drove a large sod boom truck for the summer. Driving to the job, I had a Harley Davidson 50cc bike that I bought for 100 bucks. 225 new. Now this was a horrible little bike, I mean you could feel the frame flex under you on a curve, what a cheesy little piece of junk apparently made for a 100 pound rider, and Harley put its name on it.... What is really absurd is what these little bikes are now selling for. I think it topped out at 50mph, and made the whiniest ring ding ding sound. Aermacchi in Italy built it. Someone has one listed for 22 grand.

18 going to 36 and 40 mph gusts...then 7 tonight. When the high goes to 27 on Thursday it can be called global warming :).

I woke up to 2 beautiful sights this morning...Don's manicured garden with perfect block, and that really sweet Bultaco, which until Rich talked about it, don't think I'd ever heard of them.

Eric, I was getting worried about you, but thought maybe you had gone to the city for holiday or something. Glad you got blazing fast speeds, now. I didn't know what that band's name meant, either.

20 degrees here. Snow has stopped. Not sure how much yet, finishing 2nd cup of coffee before I suit up and go outside. 2 hour delay for most schools around here. Possibly more snow this afternoon.

Good morning. It is 5 right now, supposed to drop to -4 later today, then slowly starting warming. Supposed to be 50 by Sunday. The wood burner is feeling good right now!

With the warm up Monday, little bit of rain, and sudden temperature fall.....our driveway was more like a downhill skating rink.....that was a fun trip down the drive yesterday morning. Wife had called and warned me...she didn稚 enjoy the experience either. Hopefully the 200# of salt did some good last evening. It was still in the upper teens, bag says it was rated to 5, lots of popping and cracking every place I had put salt. At the very least, there will be grit on the drive.

Hopefully someone has some salt in stock. Rural King was out yesterday.

Kyle - I have 1 production Astro. And I have what is known as a Champion Astro. That is the rare one. 1 of 5 known to exist. There were only 18 Champion frames built for Bultaco. I am the 2nd owner. Hopefully it lives again this summer.

Well, time to get another cup of coffee and wrap my head around the day ahead.

Eve4yone stay safe and warm, have a good day.

0°F and going to a high of 3°F. Wind S 23 mph. Flurries. It is snowing now. They only predict 5 cm or about 2".

I've got a dump run this morning about noon and that is 'it' for the day IF I don't plow.

Yesterday, Bruce McArthur pled guilty to 8 counts of murder after an extensive investigation. He killed the 8 over a period of 8 years, cut them up and burried the body parts in a friends' garden. At least the S.O.B saved the City of Toronto a bundle, the speculation was that IF he had let it go to trial the trial would have lasted 5 months. Bruce McArthur - Google Search
(The penalty for murder in Canada is 25 years until a 'chance' of parole', which means it is still up to the parole board whether or not you are free.)

Also in, the truck driver that ran the stop sign in Saskatchewan and caused the wreck with a bus carrying 29 members of a hockey team (Humbolt Broncos), killing 16 and severely injuring 13 has pled guilty to Dangerous driving. Again, no trial and saving the court lots of wasted time and money.
Except for the bus driver, coach and announcer, all were under 21.
I read the list of injuries on the survivors and I will bet that some of them wished they were dead.
