Thanks for the advise. We got slammed with snow/rain/ice so the driveway is a mess. It'll definitely be a learning experience so hopefully the wife doesn't record the first snowfall I use it on... but if it doesn't snow again this year in Maine it's my fault, cause we finally pulled the trigger on a tractor.

I just hooked up the pto pump and rear hydraulic tanks las5 weekend. Ran hoses up front. I have not hooked up chains yet,as ground is still too soft. but snow had started. There predicting 12 inches thru tomorrow. So far only 2. Looks like winter had finally come.

12 inches! Man, I would love to tuck into that with my blower. Unfortunately, we haven’t had much yet up here in the Great White North, but it’s coming, and the Christmas lights are up now. (Got a bunch of them newfangled LED lights.)

"You don't need a tractor", said the wife; until I made her help me shovel the snowpack that falls off the garage.
........................
Funny/strange how that works. ;)

Welcome to the Forum. Not sure how much land you have or how rural the area is but you will find so many uses for the tractor and bucket after you own one.
Looking at your picture, looks like you have a lot of hydraulic lines there. Do you have auxilary hydraulic fittings up front?
P.S. don't be shy in getting your wife behind the wheel, she will enjoy it as well. see pics different tractors... same wife

Took the loader off after cleaning the garage enough to have access to where I wanted to put it. I've tried and tried to have it on wheels, and can't seem to figure it out. Last year I drug it by hand sideways about 8', and that SUCKED. So I figured out how to put it where I want to from the other end of the garage. MUCH nicer...

Then I put the stupid subframe on and the blower on. I hate that subframe.
I still have to put on the chains (which I also hate doing) & put down my floor-protecting mats.

Just curious, wouldn't these harbor freight dollys work? I have four and a heavy car rolls easily on them. They're not expensive and hold 1000# each.image_21404.jpeg
