I was doing a service call years ago in downtown Hamilton. I leaned over to pick up my heavy toolcase and narrowly missed having my head removed by a Bus. I guess when your time is up, it's up. Or you could wear a helmet 24/7. Then a house may land on you. There is a guy that comes into my friends shop, for steel, and he is always wearing a hard hat. I saw him at the grocery store with his wife, wearing the same head gear! Too funny!

Car haulers are still getting hung up on RR tracks. I would think someone pulling a trailer with only a few inches clearance would be more careful.

It looks like the rear of the truck was hung up on the tracks. After the train hit, the truck rolled straight ahead.

... On to a floating dock, and off the end of that.The linked article notes that a recreational boater was impatient for the dock to be back in service.

Since the trucker called 911 trying to halt the train, I'm assuming the truck was driverless by the time it got hit.

His boat was in the water and he wanted to load and leave. I can understand that a lot more than if he was waiting to unload and go fishing.
