It was 21° for the low this morning, most of yesterday was in the high 40's with a brisk wind. Looks like today will be in the mid 40's and partly cloudy with a lighter wind.

My friend from NC called yesterday afternoon and said that they got a late start. So they should be here sometime late tonight or first thing in the morning. I'm going to get the camper hooked up and finish loading it and the pickup. We plan on being all set up by tomorrow afternoon. The hunt opens on Thursday, we'll be up there for about a week. I hope they have a good time while they are here.

Hope everyone has a good week.
CWB.

Glad Whipper was found, Don. He sure likes to run. Have you considered one of those in-ground invisible fences?

Yes I have. I have a call in to the neighborhood invisible fence rep. I understand there is training involved with flags. I stopped Whipper from jumping off the patio ledge and over the gate by placing pot plants on her jumping ledge but this time she was able to crawl over the fence on the other side according to the forensic evidence found.

Good morning! 74˚ heading to 82˚ cloudy. Whippers moving slowly today after her many mile hike looking for us yesterday.

John Deere utility tractor with glass roof, buddy seat and a variety of bells and whistles costs, as expected, ten percent more than
equally nice and even heavier Massey Ferguson utility tractor. Can only get features I wanted in M model, not E so it all got way too expensive.
Too much for a hobby farmer. Might bite on a 4066R with reverse inching, that would make my hooking up implements much easier.
But same size tractor as I have now. At least they are offering 0 percent financing, but....1500 dollar discount for cash. That shows you what
rising interest rates have meant to maintain a giveaway 0 percent. Last program it was 500 dollars discount for cash apparently.

I'm actually paying more attention to my plummeting Amazon stock actually.

Picked up oil filter for X750 garden tractor and going to go change the oil in that on a nice sunny afternoon. And then pull a rototiller through the remains of the vegetable garden and get it ready for next year.

The new Denton Buc-ee's about 5 miles north of us opened yesterday. So we went in and looked around a bit this morning. This is the first one I've seen with a huge carwash facility. Everything they do is BIG! The most gas pumps of any place (122 fuel pumps), the biggest, cleanest restrooms of any place. The biggest of just about everything they sell.

Buc-ee's Beaver has the Fun Stores

Not all Buc-ee's are bigger. The one in Giddings was too small for my Motorhome. The one in Bastrop was big enough.

I've only seen the 3 on I-35, so I didn't know they had any small ones.

We just never have the bright colored leaves that we've seen in the northeast part of the country. But we do have some dying leaves on our crepe myrtle and a couple of other trees in the area.

I think the fairly new Buc-ees on I-10, in Katy, is one of their bigger ones. I was at pump #217 Sunday and was no where near the end.

This one also has the huge car wash too.
