Had a really got morning bushhogging the moringa. Still another section to clean out the fence and knock down
Interesting comments on my drone ordeal, thanks.
Really liked Eric’s tree saw, but dont think i can justify.
Safety is/was my number one concern. One of the reasons it often times takes awhile before i do something. I really like to try and think things thru. Probably a carry over from my Army days and reinforced by having my disabled wife as primary, often only, workmate. Not only was my ladder very stable, but so was the branch i got to perch on. The branch was more stable than the overgrown grassy area around tree which was thick enough i tangled my feet unable to walk. I did have a safety belt and strap handy, but no way i could get it around the tree, the higher branch would have been in the way, and didnt see much value strapping self to same branch. I didnt bring my climbing spikes having ruled that out. What cant be seen in pic is tree is about 5ft from an overgrown pig fence i had to negotiate and 6 ft from a barbed wire cross fence placing the tree in a corner.
We did consider using a 2nd drone, but then I’d have 2 stuck in the tree.

Sorry Don, no video. Unfortunately i had switched off video to take stills. Wish i had the video.
The property owner did ask i not die on his property. I assured him that would be my last choice.
