Just put this new HF telescoping pole up earlier this week and moved the flag from side of house.

Wish I could be proud of our flag. Instead I'm just sad and disgusted when I see our flag. I often thought of flying the stars and stripes but why make enemies in the neighborhood? Why don't you guys invade already? lol It would be the easiest takeover in history!

Me digging water line trench at the ranch. We stay in the fifth wheel when we are there.

After 911, I had two little cloth American Flags on the front hood corners of my Gravely Walk Behind. They unfortunately didn't last long with branches and vibration. I wish I had taken a picture.

Yes Sir and you can use your tractor to do it. Win Win
I was going to use my BH to dig the hole for the pole but I lucked out with the location being at the end of a border fence. I repurposed a couple of metal straps left over from HF blast cabinet build, and screwed them to the 4x4 post. No digging required this time unfortunately.

The other benefit is the HF pole is on the light side so in winds the above ground support should stiffen and strengthen the pole quite a bit.

We have had the flag up for about 2 years. Love seeing it everyday.

Looks like the same pole I got from Amazon. The sleeve was an oddball size but I found an old driveshaft that it fit into. Cemented it in at 36" deep. My sleeve is full of water from all the rain. Not sure if the water is coming in at the telescoping portions or running down the outside of the pole and in around the sleeve. Need to suck it out before freeze up.

I bought solar flagpole light but is not that great. I'll get a photo of it after dark.

Me too... off of amazon. I mounted mine on top of the fence so I’m getting more illumination than typical. Works great. Might be a little tough to see. I’ll try to get a decent night shot. Image1536545607.668172.jpg
