Best description I've ever read.

I got to thread my mother’s sewing machines. Which included 2 sergers. That was not a problem. Setting tension seemed to be more of a problem. I did the threading she did the rest. Worked good until she was about 93. Then she could not remember what to do.
My wife will let me touch her sewing machines.

Drew, Horn and Hardart, Boston. Not as famous as the Philly original, but a fond memory.

Got some mowing. Ground still awfully wet, trouble getting up a hill, had to abandon that piece until it dries out.

Throwing a London broil on the grill then taking it up to neighbor’s for Monday afternoon Happy Hour.

Rick you mentioned in another thread about a bully app for KISD. I have a nephew going there. Do you have a link to that app?

I have trouble with colors some and trying to follow the color diagrams was difficult at best. My wife can figure out the serger threading but sometimes it is nice to have a second pair of eyes having a look. The manual indicates in several places, if it doesn't sew correctly, rethread the machine. When learning to thread, it is best to load contrasting threads to get it down (of course you will likely have mostly the same color threads when actually sewing).

Before our serger adventure, I did get the lawn mowed. It looks much better even when leaving it high to handle the hot weather better.

Merrow distributor in Baltimore sent us several sheets showing threading, adjustments, etc... I almost always keep mine loaded with white thread on all spools.

I was supposed to get gas for mowers last night and forgot.

Widely scattered pop up storms today.

I got mine finished, the rain save a few drops, stayed about two hundred yards east of me. Then as I finished, another storm passed about a mile west.

Drew, of course Horn and Hardart was almost a staple requirement when going into the city. Remember White Castle? Get a pack of 4 hamburgers for 80 cents....
