Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Does anyone know if HF sells individual torque limiting sockets? This would be the kind for use on lug nuts. I know they sell whole sets but does anyone know if they sell sockets individually? It would be much easier to rotate tires/wheels with an impact gun.

Have only seen the sets.

Well, thanks to all of you goons I spent a couple hundred dollars today. I got the aluminum 500 lb trailer hitch carrier, the Lynxx chainsaw, a pack of latex gloves for greasing the tractor, a free magnet bar, and a cool as heck short level that has a degree wheel so that you can show what angle from level you are at.

You guys owe my wife some money. She's mad at you!
That trailer hitch carrier is much nicer looking than the steel ones, less weight is a good thing. That may go on my future buy list. Cool that your wife likes to get involved.

Here痴 my 3 year old mixer. I知 happy about it except for the tiny wheels that it came with. I had a set of wheels / tires from a pull type fertilizer spreader that worked well. Now it moves easily on rough terrain.

I bought one of these used on CL for cheap. So far those tiny wheels are my main complaint. Good idea.

Break them out and at least make sure they work before the warranty runs out.

I am also amazed at how long the battery lasts on my Lynxx pole saw.

I'm slightly surprised at the "beefiness" of the charger.

I also have a Black and Decker 40V chainsaw and the charger for that is about 2"x1"x width of battery, easy to miplace. Wish that HF had come out with the Lynxx lin a few years earlier.

My 5 Lynxx 40 volt power tools came with 27 month warranties out the door. :)

We just added the hedge trimmer this week at the daughter's request and she likes it. I picked it up and pulled the trigger and it seems equal to our former corded trimmers.

We are only breaking out the batteries and chargers as needed and plan to only use one charger at a time. Now that HF as upgraded quality across the board I have started buying the 2 year extended warranties on this class of battery power tools. I understand it is part of their profit model and enables lower selling prices.

Low on time and high on heat has cut my chainsaw interest. We have dodged locally a major problem with down trees thankful. I do want them ready and the 5 batteries charged if we have to saw our way out to the main road.

If HF starts carrying the 16" or 18" version power mower made by the maker of the Lynxx line we will get one or may try to source it directly from the maker (mentioned above) if they are importing it to the USA or I can get it shipped here.

So far I guess I have committed about $800 to Lynxx tools. Time will tell how smart that was. The bottom line I am not the big jerk I use to be and do not like cutting power cords while using them. :)

Surely this has been reviewed before but their cheapie $20, 1/2 drive 150 ft lb torque wrench is a best buy in my book. I bought one today and, as fate would have it, it was on sale for $10. Here it is.

1/2" Torque Wrench
'

My original plan was to buy a $90 one from Lowe's since it was only going to be used for the lug nuts on my Tundra pickup. There would be no other use so why bother spending a lot? That's when Harbor Freight came into the picture and I saw it was only $20. Surely it had to be junk. Well, it wasn't and spec'd out just fine when I compared it with a high $$ wrench.

It's a great wrench, especially at $10 or $15 and especially if you need it for only infrequent use like I do. Everyone should own one of these.
