60°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 89° today. Looks now like we'll be in the low 90s all weekend.
Landscaper finished his work yesterday. We are pleased with the results. These guys did good work, and did it relatively quick. Here's a couple of before and after shots of the north side of the house. Looks much better, and it's no longer rotting railroad ties. Still need to clean the dust off the porch door and windows left by the masonry saw, and wait for the grass to grow.

I always tease my Wife about painting the propane tank. I've suggested a yellow submarine, and she usually slaps me when I start singing the song. Ours does need a good scrubbing, but the gray paint seems to be in good shape. Loved the watermelon tank, Rick.
I use the man-pee approach every time I'm in the barn, Mike. I don't think it's cured our problem, but it does seem to confuse them for a bit. We tried bombs a few years ago, and that worked for a little while. Our permanent fix will be to pour a concrete floor out there. Tired of dealing with those destructive oversized rats.
The Wife found a mole trapped in the netting of one of the seed blankets in the front yard yesterday, and joked with the landscaper about covering the whole yard with it. There's another problem that's been terrible the last few years.
